Purple Flame is an absolute gem in the world of Indian cuisine, and my recent dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The ambiance captivates with its rich colors and warm lighting, setting the perfect stage for a delightful evening.

What truly sets Purple Flame apart is the impeccable service, and Raj, our waiter, was the epitome of hospitality. His knowledge of the menu and recommendations were spot-on, guiding us through a culinary journey that left our taste buds dancing with joy.

The dishes at Purple Flame are a symphony of flavors, each bite an explosion of authentic Indian spices. From the flavorful Butter Chicken to the aromatic Biryani, every dish showcased the chef's mastery in blending traditional ingredients with a modern twist.

Raj's attentiveness and genuine enthusiasm added a personal touch to the dining experience, making us feel like cherished guests. The seamless service and his warm demeanor elevated our evening to an unforgettable one.

In conclusion, Purple Flame is more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary haven where passion for Indian cuisine meets exceptional service. If you crave an enchanting dining experience with flavors that linger, look no further than Purple Flame – where Raj and his team work magic...

First experience in here was lovely no complaints. So recommended it to some friends, calm, relaxing experience it was not. Food was great as usual, but the minute we sat down we felt rushed from beginning to end. The minute we sat down we were asked if we were ready to order drinks with no time to peruse the drinks menu, bearing in mind we only had One drink menu between the 3 of us. THEN we felt rushed to order our food, had to ask for another menu because only 2 was given. When we got our food in the middle of eating were were constantly asked if we would be ordering anything else (we had only just ordered starters by this time), The annoyance on their face when told that we are still eating, not good and was really irritating. Felt as though we were constantly watched waiting for us to put or forks down to clear up.Then when plates and glasses were being removed, instead of going around the table as etiquette would have, they were reaching over your food and glasses to get them, armpits un all! :( Really not happy with the recent visit and most certainly not be recommending to anyone else. No offer of weather you would like a dessert or not. :| Unfortunate as food is good, but if you don't feel welcome why spend your hard earnt...

So decided to leave another review... as well as the food always being consistently good and service always brilliant there is something key to why I keep going there. I've noticed with many resturants in the area the takeaway food is different to when you dine in. PF takeaway is as good when you eat there, I've also noticed in some places when you get a takeaway the portion size is smaller than eating in! However PF takeaway is the same size portion when eating in and that I have to congratulate them on. I LOVE the lamb hot pot, closest lamb dish I've found to traditional home cooked food. The lamb and chicken Keema are just as good. What is also good are the vegetarian dishes from main to starters I love the traditional tastes and the spin they put on some of the other dishes which makes them different, unique but so tasty... won't be long before I go through the whole menu !

Love this place ... food is consistently good and the service is brilliant! They are not interested in turning tables around to get in more people they want you to relax and have a great time, enjoy the food and soak up the atmosphere. Henal also insures the service is great. Would really recommend PF for...

An excellent performance by Purple Flame tonight! We were served by Hemel and his recommendations did not disappoint. We asked for the best veg, chicken, lamb and fish starter and that is exactly what we got. Pictures attached. The lamb was really soft and packed great flavour. Following this we asked for the best chicken curry and was given a great portion. Naan was super soft and fluffy too which didn't make the curry loose flavour. Standards of food have heavily improved. Keep up the great work and I will be back really soon. The female waitresses where really attentive too. The best bit was when Hemel came over and said don't worry I will get you another round even when we didn't realise our drinks were running low. Which then the bartender was over looking and already started pouring. The drinks came within seconds! Hard to find a place with great food and great service!

Food was ok but a bit expensive compared to similar style restaurants in the area like blue ginger. The mixed grill was nice but very very small but it still cost £25! It didnt come on a bed of onions and had neither lamb chops or chicken wings. You can get 2 mixed grills for that price elsewhere. The mains were ok. Also they don't do boneless lamb main dishes which I found a bit strange. Also we were charged for a cranberry juice even though I returned it because it was warm (room temperature)! They almost refused to refund me for it and seemed angry when they finally had to. Nice family atmosphere and the mains dishes were good sized portions. Overall it is overpriced and not as good as similar restaurants in the area such as blue ginger or spice rack.

Hands down one of the best North Indian/Kenyan restaurants in NW London. Absolutely delicious food; we ordered a lot! They also catered for all our dietary requirements but the absolute stunner dishes were the Bana M’Kubwa mixed grill (seriously enough for 4 people and the sheekh kebabs on this were incredible), the Crispy Chicken Wings….so, so moreish! For vegetarians, the garlic chilli mogo is always a hit and this didn’t disappoint. The chilli cheese bites were something I hadn’t tried before but have become a new favourite. Their service was impeccable, especially from Ruhi and Henal and a great atmosphere, especially as the owners came over to each table to say hello. Definitely worth a visit:
