I am usually extremely dubious when it comes to sushi in London, my philosophy is if it's not properly prepared then don't bother as only good sushi is worthy of eating. I came across Far East Kitchen whilst in Canary Wharf, the menu on Deliveroo looked very appetising and the prices were affordable. I decided to indulge in their 'special sushi rolls', in addition to the chicken katsu curry and their sizzling chicken bao bun. I can say without a doubt that this is some of the best food that I've had in London. The sushi is prepared fresh and expertly crafted, both taste and aesthetic were out of this world (see pictures), I couldn't stop eating the salmon rolls. This is the kind of food that I would happily order for conferences and business meetings as it feels premium. The portion sizes were just right. The chicken katsu curry was piping hot and the chicken itself clearly authentic, I felt as though I was sat in the streets of Tokyo eating freshly prepared chicken katsu. And to top it off, it was halal which is seldom the case in sushi joints. Finally, I gave their sizzling chicken bao a try, admittedly it was my first time trying a chicken bao bun, but I think after having tasted it here, it will be part of my regular order. The chicken packs a punch and each bite is rich in flavour - the dynamic dance between chicken and soft, fresh bun was an experience I will never forget. If you want good sushi at affordable prices, then I wholeheartedly recommend Far East Kitchen. My only regret is that I did not try more of their menu. I am confident, however, that I will be ordering from them again very soon!

All I can say about this place is—wow! Truly one of the best food spots I’ve come across. I’ve visited multiple times, and the quality has remained consistently excellent. I’ve introduced friends and family from different cities to this place, and every single one of them has been genuinely impressed. In terms of food, the Bao Bun Munch Box and the Korean Box are my go-to choices—they never disappoint. The flavours are bold, well-balanced, and absolutely delicious. Service is always quick, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and professional, which really enhances the overall experience. Price-wise, it varies depending on your order. On average, the boxes are around £20 per person, but there’s a wide range of options available to suit different preferences and budgets. To anyone reading this review: don’t hesitate—give them a try. You won’t regret it!

I tried out the Ramadan Box and I have to be honest it wasn’t the best of quality. On social media it had been promoted well and looks better. The food looks like it had been cooked in a rush. The chips were definitely fresh, and did not taste good. The Korean Corn Dog was alright, had good flavour. The Sizzling Chicken Bao Bun did not come out anything on the video. It was a chicken piece covered in sauce. The Crispy Korean Fried Chicken Wings were crispy and juicy. The Prawn Gyoza was not cooked to perfection and did not taste good. The Chicken Strip is cut in half, tiny pieces. Also, I did not receive the two sauces which was shown in the video. Just look at the difference from what they had uploaded on social media to what I had received.

We ordered a Half and half corn dog, a Chicken bao bun, a K dog meal, some vegetables gyoza, some Dessert bao bun, a freshly made mango drink and a fizzy mango drink. The half and half corn dog had more cheese in it than sausage.

The sausage itself was even halved, I ask even before I ordered if there were poorly half and half. As in inside is cheese and sausage but the sausage is in the middle cheese around the sausage, and the batter around them both and I was told yes. Which was not the case.

The Chicken bao bun was decent, the dessert bao bun was mid, it tasted alright, but there was nothing special about it. I think what made it nicer was the cinnamon and sugar as the dessert itself was flavourless and dry. The sauce that was given with it was chocolate and custard, but they were very running and diluted.

The vegetables gyoza, tasted more like onions than vegetables, which was not nice. The freshly made mango juice was alright but it could have been sweeter. The mango fizzy drink was good. The customer service was friendly, and we didn’t have to wait too long for our food which was good.

The food was not worth the amount of money we paid, I would not go back here and I wouldn’t recommend it either. Really nothing against the people who work here and the person who owns this placement. But the food could do with some...

I never leave reviews unless I'm overly excited & completely satisfied about the food. These guys here are doing an absolute amazing job. The bao buns are a realy nice & soft, ever so slightly chewy the exact texture to be. The sizzling chicken is exceptionally crispy with the soft & jucy tenderness still inside not being over cooked or under. The beef brisket bao buns slap also. Meaning there great too. Lets get to korean corn dogs... with the battered seasoned corn & Siracha mayo, absolutely scrumptious 😋. These guys are doing it differently. My suggestion, just get the munch box & you wont be dissapointed I can guarantee. Thanks again Far East 👏🙌 doing HALAL Japanese cuisine DIFFERENT. Nobody's doing it like these guys. 10/10. P.s. they are very friendly also which is such bonus. You leave happy with smile even before you have indulged. Customer service is so on point they really know how to serve the public. Then when you eat the food ahh your left Astonishingly surprised. Win win. Nothing else to say. Much love, see you soon...
