My husband and I took a friend here for dinner on a Monday evening.  The food was very tasty, the service was initially very attentive and the pinà colada was delicious which had a 2 for 1 deal on all day every day. It wasn't till my husband paid that I'd noticed that we were charged for mint sauce, containers for a doggy bag and charged for 2 king prawn Puri's when we order 1 king prawn Puri and 1 prawn Puri. The service was on the non discounted price. I'd have been less displeased had we been informed of being charged for the containers and I've never been charged for a condiment before. We took 2 plastic boxes to box up our food, what I don't understand is why the waiter was disgruntled at me wanting 3 if they were charging for them.  I only needed 2 in the end but we were charged for 3 with service on top.  I was refunded 80p but not for the service on the container.  It's not about the money but the principal. Overall, the food was very enjoyable.  The butter chicken had coconut in it and was overcooked, I dislike coconut immensely. All in all we enjoyed the food but being charged for things we've never been charged for left a bad taste in our mouths. 18.8.23 Response to owners response: Thank you for your prompt reply to my review. My issue is transparency.  Had you informed us that our prawn puri was being charged as a king prawn puri we'd have taken the superior ingredient.  Who makes an order for a lesser ingredient knowing they're paying for a superior one.  It's like ordering a rump steak knowing you're paying for a sirloin steak. I didn't make a special request, we asked if you had it.  If you didn't have it on the menu then you should've informed us accordingly rather than charge us more without our knowledge, it's dishonest and no one likes to feel cheated. I reduced my review down by 1 star because of your disingenuous response.

Woah. Hands down one of the best curries I've ever had, with banging cocktails to boot! Was attracted by the veggie menu, which is creative and offers much more than the usual veggie selection. Popped in for a cocktail while I selected my takeaway choice, stayed a while thanks to Has' marvellous hospitality - you can tell he's a pro as soon as he preps your cocktail - and atmosphere - music was just right, aromas from the kitchen were mmmm and I had the pleasure of chatting with Has' fiance. My bringal poriyal was so on point: fresh ingredients, no overcooked veg, balanced flavours, sharp and spicy. Cannot wait to go back, eat in with friends and support this lovely, local, independent business.

Upon arrival we were greeted with friendly courtesy and the level of genial service and attention continued throughout our meal. The food is authentic Indian with no compromise on spiciness and taste (we had the butter chicken, tikka masala and king prawn vindaloo among other dishes and they did not fail to please). Hassan, the manager, is a charming host, rightly proud of his restaurant, and the waiter who served us was the epitome of friendly and efficient service. Highly recommended!

We stumbled onto this place, walking along the high street and thought we would give it a go.

The interior was beautiful and we could tell the place was quite new. There was a glass conservatory section at the front of the restaurant which let in a lot of sunlight. It was really a nice atmosphere.

We sat down and ordered the following:

Garlic chilli chicken Chickrn Rogan Josh Garlic naan Peshwari naan Pilau rice Homemade lemonade Strawberry hoemmade lemonade

Clean plates all round. The food was superb and really well priced. The total came to £60.

To our surprise, on MONDAYS ITS 50% OFF!!!

So for everything we paid £30. The owner had a chat with us and explained they have recently opened and that the promotion would stay for a long time. The owner is a mixologist, having worked for cocktail bars for 10 years and has added a 2 for 1 on cocktails when you come in on a Thursday.

I highly recommend, you will not be...
