Eat My Pizza — Restaurant in London

Wanted to try this place for quite some time as this used to be Barclays Bank. I went with my family and upon walking in the atmosphere was very nice and very contemporary as well which is something that gives this place a good plus. After we had been seated, we were given menus to order. First we ordered the tomato garlic bread which was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed that to the fullest as it was fresh and very tasteful. However, the downside came to the actual mains ; the main event which you come for, which is the pizza. I ordered the margarita a staple in any Italian restaurant and my family ordered the tonno e cipolla. I’m sorry to say this, but the food was absolutely disgusting. How does one effortlessly mess up in margarita? To reiterate, a staple in an Italian restaurant? The Margarita was tasteless and bland. The cheese tasted like thick rubber and was so chewy and had no taste to it. There was literally no tomato sauce on the bread at all. I even peeled back the cheese to see if there was any tomato sauce or if it was my imagination and not to my surprise, just plain white bread underneath. And the worst part of it all is the base of the pizza was burnt and tasted absolutely horrible with the rubber cheese. I gave a piece to my family to eat and they described it as torture lol. Their pizza was described to have a “white base” and wasn’t entirely sure what it meant as their was no sauce underneath. but theirs was slightly more tasteful than mine. Just by a slight. After we paid the bill in full which was a tad overpriced and left unsatisfied and still a bit hungry due to not being able to finish it all because of its horrendous taste. This was so sad as I had such high hopes after receiving the tomato garlic bread and thinking the margarita will be a step above, But in reality, it was subpar. I do not recommend this place.

Edit: update I now have severe food poisoning! Just spent almost the entire week crapping my body weight away and now en route to the hospital. I checked the food hygiene rating and it’s 3. Surprised? No.

Dear eat my pizza reply, I was perfectly fine before eating at your establishment. When I left I couldn’t stop crapping and throwing up dude due to your food. Stop trying to invalidate my experience. As you said “we haven’t had one single complaint of food poisoning”. Well congratulations you have your first one! And now you guys can no longer claim that you haven’t which you constantly do almost so proudly. Some bacteria have an incubation period of several days, and food poisoning does not always show up immediately, it doesn’t take someone with more than a single brain cell to understand how bacteria works and how it can be transmitted due to lack of care and hygiene and how it manifests inside the body bro. I’m the one who spent almost that entire week feeling like shit and my arse so sore unable to keep any sort of food down my stomach so you tell me broski. I shall take this “review” more like serious complaint further to the food standard agency, and I’ll be sure not to spare a single detail. Don’t test me, instead take the L and move on like any other restaurant would do and instead apologise to the customer like any sane person would do, as I have seen you guys are capable of it just not to me which clearly indicates some sort of bias as you cannot comprehend that your food is not as fantastic as it maybe for me. Since taste is “subjective” I find your delulu-ness thinking is also extremely subjective too, just because you’ve had plenty of good reviews are you that incapable to believe that maybe for some people it didn’t hold upto that standard g? Instead of twisting it to make it sound like I’m in the wrong for just sharing my experience. As someone who has autism I won’t hold back from sharing my experiences no matter how blunt and honest it maybe. Be that as it may please don’t try to reply further because I really cannot keep updating my review due to your lack of empathy, basic comprehension and severe lack of understanding. The moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by Hugo, who provided some of the best customer service I've ever encountered. The food here is simply outstanding and genuinely amazing! You can taste the quality of the fresh ingredients in every bite, and the portion sizes are excellent value for money. This business truly deserves more recognition and success, and I hope this review encourages others to visit.

The hospitality is second to none an easy 10/10. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and incredibly friendly. Ash and Pedro went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Pedro’s recommendations were spot on, especially the prawns, which I highly recommend to any seafood lovers. My partner and I will definitely be returning soon!

We visited with our 9 month old baby, and the team made such a lovely effort to interact with her. While this doesn’t directly relate to the food, it added a special touch and made the restaurant feel so family-friendly.
