It’s a real shame because this place has so much potential and I really want to support local business. Unfortunately they are under staffed and I waited 10 minutes just to be served at the till (there was no queue). If every table was taken then maybe I’d understand why I had to wait but given there probably about a third of tables free I think someone to help with the breakfast rush on a weekend might help. I know it can be difficult planning staff with demand but somewhere serving coffee, food and desserts I think need a minimum of 2 over mealtimes for the size of the restaurant (one to take orders, bus tables and help and one on food prep and drinks). I will add I don’t think this is a one-off and I’ve been in before and there was just one member of staff.
The staff who was working was working hard but I wasn’t even acknowledged when waiting they were so busy.
The food was good once it arrived but I think some background music and also on a warm day opening the door makes it more...
Read moreThe customer service here is dreadful. Staff do not seem willing to accommodate what the customer wants. I was told that no packaging was available to pack up some left over desert. Surely, packaging such as a lid is required for take away deliveries? The desert and smoothie ordered was mediocre. On a previous occasion, I ordered a desert which arrived with the ice cream leaking all over the packaging. I thought to give this place a second chance but was disappointed once again. I don’t think I will be visiting here again. Fresco team, I would advise you experience the deserts and customer service of some of your competitors to really understand what exceptional customer service looks like for a...
Read moreI had a delightful experience at this charming establishment! The staff and interior were lovely, and I'll definitely be back to try their desserts and savory crepes. We ordered the shakshuka, which lacked spices and was quite tomatoey. However, the Melon Refresher smoothie was really tasty, and I'd definitely get it again. The London Bridge breakfast arrived cold, with a poached egg instead of a fried one, but the bacon was delicious. The gelato was a bit underwhelming, lacking creaminess and tasting more icy and artificial. Despite these critiques, it's probably the best place for breakfast in Worcester Park. I'm looking forward to trying other items...
