George & Dragon — Restaurant in London

Usually not too bad, but let down by various recent visits. Served by a member of staff who was eating when she approached the bar and said "sorry, I'm hungry" whilst continuing to eat and pouring my pint (no hand washing). Music frequently WAY Too loud, even early in the afternoon. Went in today and 4 or 5 kids running around in the garden being little tykes, not their fault, but the utter mess their parents created was a different story. It was like a bomb had gone off. Shocking behaviour before 6pm in a local pub with kids around, staff didn't seem interested or able to control them. I would expect that at midnight after a heavy session, but not this early. Made the garden unusable. Standards are getting worse...

horrible service. “wait times” on app and website is a lie; it said 20min wait for food and our 3 meals took over 1 hour to serve. there are multiple empty tables around (aka no one else is ordering food). would’ve walked out if i didnt already order and pay through the app. we were only told after i put the order in that there would be a “bit of a wait”….1 hour isn’t “a bit”. there was no follow up about our order. we asked for an update at the 45min mark and were told the food would come out “soon”. our meals weren’t served until literally 62min later (and i know because the receipt was emailed to me). truly a waste of time and truly horrible service. poorly managed and the worst place...

Unfortunately, I have again been unfairly treated. (23/11/2024) The lady at the bar today wants me to plead with her for her to serve me a drink. It's sometimes kind of getting more obvious. I went back to my seat to order from the app, and no one has responded in 30mins. I am not sure please is a requirement to be served a drink politely.
