Guido's Grill — Restaurant in London

Wow. What a brilliant and beautiful experience at Guido's Grill. They should call it Guido's Great Grill!

Me and my lovely girlfriend were wandering through Central London after a day of shopping. Soon...the hunger struck...we needed...steak. We tried Blacklock...full...we tried Flat Iron...full...and then we decided to head back to South London, trying our hand at Guido's Grill as our last port of call for delicious meaty treat.

A simple few taps on Google secured our booking. And our Saturday improved infinitely knowing that we had delicious Argentinian steak just 25 mins away. When we arrived, the restaurant immediately charmed us with its bohemian decorations and its authentic, familial atmosphere. Our server was so attentive and so friendly, and took care to check in with us through our meal. We both felt so well looked after in Guido's and it made all the difference.

The food was absolutely stellar as well. Two massive phwoooar steaks alongside chimichurri, a spicy tomato salsa and (favourite) peanut dip. I am obsessed with this dip and I need it in my life. I would eat this every day if I could. And it's so affordable??? There are steak places double the price for half the food. This place rocks.

All in all, this was such an awesome experience. I cannot wait to get a big pile of friends in on a meat platter at Guido's as soon...

Best value Restaurant in South London

Guidos Grill is a hidden gem amongst the steakhouses in London I'm amazed how I haven't discovered this place sooner.

The food was excellent beyond my expectations, I had the Calamari as a starter and it was fresh & delicious had no regrets picking it.

The steak came with a portion of chips, salad, rice and chorizo. Everything was delicious it was like going through a magical journey of discovering food. The steak was juicy and grilled beautifully with an abundance of flavours. All the other side dishes were very nice and complimentary.

For desserts we had the Tres Leches cake and my gosh it was delicious. Probably the best dessert I've had in years, it's so tasty but light & refreshing.

Customer service was top quality the staff are very friendly and polite. The experience was amazing the entire aesthetic looked very good and it gave a nice South American vibe.

The crazy thing about this place is the value you can get a big piece of steak that comes with potatoes chips, rice, salad and chorizo for around £23 is an absolute bargain!

I'm definitely going to be a regular here and would recommend anyone I know to come...

*Reflecting back on the meal I can’t help but think that it was perhaps the best grilled steak and accoutrements I’ve enjoyed in years.

After wandering Camberwell Rd for thirty minutes in search of a restaurant, nearly settling on a handful of places just to end the search, our party took one step across Guido’s threshold and knew we’d made the right decision. From a warm and inviting aurora, to catchy and uplifting music, and a genuinely personable staff and manager, Guido’s Grill is truly phenomenal.

And of course, the entrees were almost beyond description. Healthy portion sizes, delicious sauces, and carne asada, pork, and sausage grilled to absolute perfection. I can’t wait to visit the Camberwell area again for its various artistic community contributions, green spaces, and positive atmosphere. But deep down I’ll really be cheering for the opportunity to have another dish from Guido’s...
