Mooboo Camberwell Bubble Tea — Restaurant in London

It was my first time visiting the establishment, and I placed a rather large order of approximately 10 beverages. The female staff members were very friendly and cheerful, which created a relaxing atmosphere. However, after I had placed my order and the drinks were about to be prepared, the lady who took my order informed me that they had run out of tapioca, which was a crucial ingredient for three of the drinks I had ordered. Ideally, she should have ensured that these ingredients were in stock before accepting my order. Nevertheless, she kindly suggested an alternative. Unfortunately, the alternative drinks should have been relabeled, as there was confusion and the drinks were mixed up when we received them.

While I was waiting for my drinks, I observed that although the staff member approached customers in a cheerful and easygoing manner, her behaviour lacked professionalism and could potentially be perceived as annoying. For example, she would ask for a customer's order, but before the customer could respond, she would guess the order and then add right at the end, "and tapioca... unfortunately, we don't have any left." Mooboo consistently serve a great variety and quality of drinks, this store has some seating available inside although I wouldn’t say it has the best atmosphere but it is always clean and tidy and the service here is great. There are so many options you can have that I found the girl that worked here was so patient and helpful. She talked me through the basics and helped me decide on some great combinations that I hadn’t tried before. She was happy to let me try some of the toppings and was knowledgeable on all of the products. She was so polite and friendly and professional as well. Firstly, I want to say that Mariam and Hasna are incredible! Genuinely the friendliest people ever, they’re so sweet and informed and helped me choose between having soy or oat milk in my Thai Milk tea. We got an oat Thai Milk tea and it literally tastes so good, it tastes almost like normal as if I didn’t have oat but I know there’s oat in there because it has that distinct flavour to it, which is crazy so I’m definitely getting that again or the Taro version.
