Simply amazing! We were looking for a place where to celebrate a small wedding. We decided to stay for dinner before making our mind up, I always wanted to dine at Gusto D’Oro but for a reason or another did not. That evening I fall in love with the place, the food, the atmosphere, the music and everything that was there. We decided to have our reception there, we spoke to the owners, Adriano and Beatrice, told them what we had in mind and they were amazing from the start. They took care of everything! On the day when we arrived I was over the moon seeing the tables and how everything had been decorated, we had a very warm welcome with some mimosas, the tables were beautifully decorated with flowers and candles it all had such a romantic atmosphere. I had a little bit of cold and Beatrice made me the most delicious tea I’ve ever had! We had bruschettas, insalata di mare, antipasto misto and caprese for starters, as a main we had mixed grilled meats, chicken, lamb, piatto imperiale and chips, roast peppers, salad and courgettes as a side, we had deep fried fish and I’m sure much more we ate so much that we can’t even remember it all! But everything was so fresh and made to perfection, everyone was over the moon with everything, even though we were a big group they were always amazing, smiling and making sure that we had everything we needed. Basically spot on from start to finish! We will definitely visit again and we highly recommend it to any sea food lover!

Old school trattoria in Catford. The chef is from Naples, and seafood is his speciality. The bruschetta had the right amount of garlic - a rare treat in the modern Italian cuisine. The caprese salad could do with a little bit more olive oil. We ordered fritto misto for two, a feast of fried fish, calamari, scampi, sauté of mussels and cockles. Genuine and tasty, the sauté could do with an additional pinch of salt and the presentation could be slightly refreshed, although the 80s style scampi salad really reminded me of my childhood. The tiramisù is homemade and absolutely delicious, a real treat since this dessert has become very popular and generally overprocessed in other restaurants. We'll be back to try a few seafood pasta dishes!

My husband and I are very lucky to live just down the road from this wonderful restaurant! We have dined here many times now and everything is always fantastic. The food is delicious, fresh and beautifully flavoured; we are steadily working our way through every pasta dish with each visit but our favourite is the linguine zucchini e gamberetti. It is SO good! The ambience is very zen and feels homely. The team are so welcoming and friendly, always attentive and happy to answer any questions or give recommendations. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and the portion sizes are generous. We love coming here and would highly recommend it!

We are visiting the area and found this place, which had some vegan options that looked interesting (we had to ask which dishes were vegan, as we didn’t know if they were just vegetarian or not). My partner and I don’t like chilli, so the very welcoming and friendly waiter said we didn’t have to have it in. We hadn’t booked, and the restaurant was busy, so we were told we could return later. It was still pretty busy, but the waiter was very accommodating and managed to fit us in. The atmosphere is a nice cosy one, with a lit candle on each table. Four my main course, I had the olive oil and garlic spaghetti dish, with the chilli not put in, and sliced mushrooms put in at my request - they even gave me two types of mushroom to choose from. My partner had the tomato penne pasta, also with the chilli not put in. We both enjoyed our main courses and tasted each other’s too. We both agreed both dishes were very tasty. We had to wait a while for the food, but I think ii might be prepared from scratch. We also had a starter each of bruschetta, which, apart from a bit too much garlic for us, was nice and tasty. You do get an awful lot of ice in your drink, so I think you’d have to specify if you didn’t want lots. The waiter was very helpful and pleasant and we...

The Christmas decorations looked nice and made the place feel very warm. The service was quite good and attentive. The food was delicious! All the seafood looks really fresh and amazing. I had the Orata al quazzetto, as recommended by the waiter, and it could not have been better. The fish was cooked to perfection and the flavour was really good. I can't wait to go again, this time with my mum, who loves seafood, and have a fisherman's platter. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because we had to wait quite a while between the starter and the main course. They later explained this was due to them having to wash and cut new pieces of salmon that my husband had ordered, so the main dishes were delayed. This unfortunately meant that we had no time for desserts or coffee, which I would have very much...
