Happy Family — Restaurant in London

We ordered over the phone at 5:45pm for a delivery. Fair enough it’s Christmas Eve so we accepted their estimation of a 1.5 hour wait. After 2 hours we called back and were told it would be another 30 mins. After 40 mins still no delivery. Then when I called back I was told they would start cooking it. I had to cancel the order as it would’ve been over three hours by the time it reached us, if it ever would. A takeaway place shouldn’t just prioritise people that are walking in to collect when they have taken orders over the phone already. People waiting at home are just as important, especially when they are long term...

My partner and I often buy from Happy Family not only for their quality of dishes but friendly customer services on every visits. To be honest can't comment on other dishes as we always order the same: beef and black beans sauce, sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style, Monk vegetables, salt and pepper prawns and beef hor Fan.
