My friend and I had a lovely morning at this café!
We each ordered an iced oat latte and shared an Elle Woods waffle (their way of naming crêpes is genius). The lattes were excellent and definitely worth the price. The crêpe, however, felt a bit overpriced for its size and quality, we thought the portion could’ve been a little bigger and the texture a bit crispier. The crepe was lovely but the service was not so good and was borderline a bit dismissive; no greeting on entry/exit, no offer of help as I navigated around with a 3 week old baby, I was stood at the counter for a little while before being acknowledged (despite there being a gentleman behind the counter) and got most of the way to the table before being told it was counter service only. For such an inviting looking place with a lovely backstory, it sadly wasn’t all...
Read moreA fantastic and much needed addition to lovely Furzedown. I’ve been in twice and had a sausage bap and a tuna panini and coffee’s. The food was delicious, coffee exactly as it should be and all served with a friendly smile and a chat. I really loved how they’ve decorated the place and thought about their clientele, all the touches for parents and kids are so sweet and will keep us coming back time and time again. Can’t wait to try one of the pop up nights...
