This is the best Honest Burgers location I've been to. The front of the store, as seen from the already charming Portobello Road, is by itself quite appealing, flaunting the appetizing Honest® olive green color scheme from the basement to the top of the building in a very Portobello fashion. The inside of the store also does not disappoint. It has a very cozy, cramped, american diner style interior, mostly in wood. It is full of decorations consistent with the Honest color scheme, and has generally a very pleasing atmosphere, ideal for a burger place. Only complaint I have is that the bathroom is very tiny and not in the best condition. The staff is very friendly, and the food is also consistently good. I have never been disappointed by a burger here. Keep in mind that the Honest approach is to serve smaller burgers than the competitors (GBK, Byron), but it always comes with plenty of fries in a convenient deep plate. Some people prefer a bigger burger with no fries, but I quite like the Honest philosophy on this topic. If you're ever feeling peckish on Portobello Road, but are not in the mood for any of the (mostly delicious) street food you can find in the market, definitely pop into Honest Burgers for a great burger experience.

First visit of 2024 to our favourite burger joint in Notting Hill to celebrate our son's recovery back to full health after a bout of flu and chest infection. The place is a short stroll from our home and it's always lovely to walk around Portobello Road. We arrived on a Friday around 2:30pm in the afternoon. The place was half full. Two staff on duty, Feri and Hannah who handled our order swiftly and were very friendly. The food came very quickly which was welcomed as we were starving. Hannah recommended we go for the split of coleslaw and fries to go with our smash burger as we couldn't decide between which to have and the plate of food was delicious. We have been coming to Honest on Portobello for many many years now, have seen a change in staff through the years and all have had a common attitude in common - always friendly, always welcoming and wanting to please. Great experience and we will be back again soon.... Oh and it's dog friendly. Highly recommended.

Well I must say my visit was most disappointing. I was drawn into the restaurant in the first place with their special Spanish themed burger advertised outside. Unfortunately one of (to me) the key elements in the offering was missing, namely the padron peppers. When I queried this, I got a sort of shrug of the shoulders attitude that there was a problem with deliveries. Not really the correct attitude in my books. With regards to the rest of the burger, this was actually pretty bland. The chips were also undercooked / anaemic, which further added to the poor experience. My 2 stars rating is rather generous all things considered.

I was looking for a salad for lunch, but when I stumbled past Honest Burgers, I decided the salad could wait. I ordered the vegan burger, with vegan cheese and vegan bacon. It was served with rosemary fries. While it didn't taste like actual meat (I don't think so, anyway -- as a vegetarian, I can't really remember the taste anymore), it was really good! There was a lot of flavor from the various components of the sandwich, and really too many fries to finish. And their mayo was even made from free range eggs (according to the label, anyway). I was very glad I had stopped. What a special treat.

4/2024 ~ A good spot in Portobello, London! Super tasty dishes with excellent flavors and a wide range of vegan and meat lovers! Reasonable prices and amounts of portions. ~ However, the WCs and the spaces between the in-store tables were extremely narrow and someone could hardly make their way to sit in the couch-side of the table! Vibes of the staff were not that pleasant to receive our orders and reply to our queries. Lastly, the place was too loudly with the talking of the customers covering the background music. ~ Overall, I will go again only to taste those super delicious burgers!!!

Previously never been to Honest Burgers before but the staff sat me and my friends down in a nice comfortable spot and ran through all the options on the menu. Then I received best burger I have tried from any place in London which was just one out of around twenty-five options available. This was accompanied with rosemary chips which were also a first time for me but hopefully not the last as they were also great. 5/5 Place for staff friendliness and attentiveness, whilst also serving great food, big shoutout to Ference fir walking us through everything. Amazing.
