Horseshoe Cafe — Restaurant in London

It is now 12 months since I located this gem of a cafe. What impressed me most, at the outset, was the absence of any unpleasant spillage on the sauce bottles. How many cafes do you visit and see the sauce bottles with more sauce on the outside than inside the bottles. Not here. After customers vacate a table, everything is immediately cleared away. The staff are efficient and helpful. As for the food............... amazing. Served on HOT plates and nicely presented. Big choice, big portions and they have even more choices than on the display board. Just ask. From an early big breakfast with freshly baked Irish soda bread to late evening meal of roast or steak or anything you wish, this is the place to visit. There is a great atmosphere and once you get to know the regular customers, the 'craic' is brilliant. How lucky i am insofar as I live within walking distance. Over the year, I have brought several friends and all have left with complete satisfaction. I see some have already left positive feedback. Thank you everyone...

I used to love the horse shoe cafe when it was on boston Manor Road opposite where wickes used to be it was a fantastic place to eat traditional Irish food all fresh and plenty of variety all dishes were home made and delicious,I was gutted when it shut you couldn't get a seat most of the time as it was so busy , I was happy when they re-opened on northfields avenue I have been 3 times and I was the only customer each time Martin and the 1 staff member were sitting down disinterested the food was substandard and warmed up in a microwave absolutely disgusting food and service please close your door for good avoid and is so expensive rubbish , they only have a FOOD...

Avoid at all costs. They only had 3 customers in their on Sunday morning. I went in and ordered 2 coffees and 1 cappuccino. I was refused service and was told they would only serve drinks with food. Obviously a way to try and upsell a stranger. Walked out and went to a much better cafe down the road. The choice of cafes in Northfields Ave is huge. Even other customers looked shocked.

There was actually 3 of us. I'm 50 and was there with my dad and uncle who are both 80. Look at their rude response !

They thought they could upsell us and rip us off. They couldn't. Great cafe down...
