Two playgrounds, five a side pitches, tennis courts, open air gym... Great facilities. And as a dog owner it's a good place for dogs, with responsible friendly owners for the most part. All it lacks is a café but there's one next door in Walpole Park. There's a guy selling scones and coffee from a cart, and he means well, but his coffee is awful. If you do walk your dogs there, don't let them play in the dewponds at the east end of the park - they will stink of drains. EDIT: In 2024 the Council cordoned off half the park to dig flood mitigation ponds. The work is supposed to complete in June 2025 but we'll see.
