Indulge — Restaurant in London

Went to Indulge for the first time yesterday with my daughter and other half. After waiting some time for our order to be taken, we ordered two savoury crepes and each of us ordered a dessert and drinks. The glasses provided for the drinks were absolutely filthy!. Our crepes arrived after about 20 mins along with my daughters dessert, as that was all she was having. I had the chicken supreme which was ok but had far too much garlic in it. My other half enjoyed his mexican crepe.

After we had finished we waited and waited for someone to clear out plates and bring our dessert. we continued to wait for about half an hour. When I finally gave in and asked one of the MANY people working there is we were ever going to get our dessert, she said we should have let them know if we wanted to add something to our order (in not a very polite way). I explained that we had ordered everything at the same time and had been asked if we would like it all brought at once or if we would like our crepes and then desserts afterwards ( which is the option we choose). she then said we should have let them know that we were ready for our desserts, I said I thought the fact that our empty plates had been sat on our table for half an hour was a bit of a give away that we had finished. She then changed the story saying had forgotten to get our order ready and it would be 5 mins. After 10-15 mins we gave up and said to forget it and just paid for what we had already had. There was no apology, no offer of the desserts or anything else for free, just looks from the staff of "what's your problem"! There are so many people working/serving there but no sense of order or anyone knowing what their duties are or what anyone else is meant to be doing. It's complete chaos. Headless chickens spring to mind. At one point there were 10 customers crowding around the till waiting to order or pay and it was mayhem, none of the staff had a clue what to do, orders were getting messed up or forgotten. So in summary dirty place, rude staff, no customer service, no apologies = wont be going back or...

My favourite place for desserts absolutely love it.. was here last Saturday evening when you decide last minute to have a dessert this is one of my favourite places. At busy times be prepared to wait for a table as it has no booking service..We gladly wait every single time..never been a time I have not waited..the team are brilliant there they know exactly what there doing and the service is just great. note to self take pics of everyone’s dessert..Peanut Butter and a choc Waffles with a side of cinnamon ice scream OMG…love it, in heaven right now.

Update 02/10/24 As you can see from my review above it has been a while since I have been here….as a group of seven ladies we popped in here half expecting not to get a table as we were probably their last customers on a Wednesday through the door at 10pm…(you all know how it is when a venue says it closes at 10:30…they stop you from entering 30-40mins prior to closing. I take my hat off to both of the team at Indulge who looked after us this evening..Che and Fabio..when I say looked after us..amazing service at that time of the evening service with a smile..hospitality at its best well done..👏 ..completely forgot to take pics of the desserts!! We had Cookie Dough..Cinnamon Sugar Pancakes and Apple Crumble with Cinnamon Ice Cream with a few Mint Teas, Coffees and the Chai Latte’s.

I have to say before this I would give Indulge 5 stars, their food is absolutely delicious!

My only gripe is that the other day I ordered an Uber delivery and was so disappointed when my sons food arrived, (my daughters food was perfect) but the crepe portion for my son was absolutely tiny, honestly about half the size of the portion you’d get if you dined in. I was very annoyed as you can imagine and more so when I saw that rather than the crepe being filled with melted chocolate as it normally is it was almost flat with only a few dabs of a spoon of chocolate around the middle, so almost non at all.

My son was gutted as I’d told him how amazing these were so he felt very let down. All in all whoever made his crepe was very very mean with the portion.

It’s really out me off making a delivery order which is a real shame as we would order regularly before this

Come on dessert lounge, don’t drop your game your food is lovely, just sort out whoever is doing these delivery orders !

Edit - June 2025 - have you changed your milk chocolate? It used to be utterly delicious but the milk chocolate on the crepes now tastes a bit artificial which is a real shame, the melted milk chocolate was one of the best parts of...
