Went for dinner with a friend after hearing some really good reviews about Matsya and having had a look at the menu I just knew I needed to try the food. Stunning place, very simple yet chic interior. Service was perfect and the food and drinks were amazing. We ordered Olives, Savoury Churros and Potato Bravas for starters and I have to be honest the idea of having churros as a savoury dish was a little weird but it absolutely 100% works. I highly recommend it. For mains we ordered a naked veg burrito and veg stir fry and both dishes were amazing. The stir fry isn't your traditional stir fry but I absolutely loved it and it was my favourite dish. All is all I'd give it a 10/10 Service 10/10 Price 10/10 Interior deco 9/10 Food 10/10 A special thanks to Ashish who tended to all our requests. We really enjoyed ourselves and cannot wait to come back. Highly recommend.

Matsya have now changed their menu, so a few of the Indian foods remain (the excellent paanipuri and divine murg tikka) but they’ve now got a really interesting range of nibbles, flatbreads, pizzas and pasta bakes, not to mention both cheese and chocolate fondue. We had the dishes mentioned above plus jalapeño poppers, veg gyoza and cauliflower bites- all very tasty. We didn’t have mains (too hot to eat too much) but did have the biscoff waffle to share for dessert which was excellent. The Moscow Mule cocktail was lovely and far too drinkable! Service was prompt and incredibly friendly and prices reasonable. Only sad to see it so quiet- it deserves to be much busier. We will definitely go back- both with and without the kids. A lovely evening.

What a lovely addition to the area. The service was exceptional, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The signature cocktails were tasty and refreshing. We had only come in for drinks, but ended up having starters as they looked so good. The Lucknawi Latcha Tokri (veg) was very presentable, and the Prawns Balchao were delicious. Definitely will be back again!

Lovely ambiance (ok music, attentive staff)

This place has a selection of some interesting dishes on the menu. Tried the set menu options. Overall, the food was tasty. Few things that can be improved include the naan bread and teas. The naan bread can be much more softer so that it’s easy to break, and not too hard on the edges. Perhaps something to consider is that making the naan slightly thick may retain the softness (but other reviewers have already commented on the small size of portions and may be this applies to quantity of flour used in naan). Please don’t compromise quality over quantity! In case of tea, when it comes to fresh ingredients, ensuring that they are free of any insects definitely is a bonus! No one wants to see poor dead insects floating in...
