We were rather pleased with this park, which was tidy and well cared for, with some good plantings.

It is quite an oasis in the centre of Pinner with birdsong in plenty and an excellent children's play area which our granddaughter would love!

A small aviary held many budgerigars, chattering away. They always raise a smile! Our destination was the Heath Robinson Museum which I'll review separately but should also mention the rather nice cafe in the park, which was busy and had a good menu posted. Plenty of veggie and vegan options were available too.

I have known this place for nearly 60 years. It's always been a quiet place in which to escape. There's always been a pond with ducks and geese, and an aviary of budgerigars - though I have always felt not enough is done to care for this outhouse or the birds inside. Nowadays, there's a café and the Heath Robinson exhibition that tells the story of the artist's career with original artwork and other items, many of which were created in his nearby home.
