Johnnie's Fish Bar & Kebab House — Restaurant in London

Absolutely succulent, absolutely mouth-watering, absolutely de-li-cious-ahhhhh. All I think about after my gym session and swimming for 2hrs is Johnnies fresh battered sausage and chips for me. I have been going to Johnnies fish and chip shop since I was knee high to a grasshopper and i will continue going there and never stop! I shed a tear each time someone gives a bad review because it means they have no taste buds so cannot appreciate the exquisite taste of johnnies; I feel sooooo sorry for them; they I wish their eyes were open to the light of Johnnies fish and chip shop. Issac (the owner of johnnies fish and chip shop) always offers me fresh chips and battered sausage and he always commends me on my timing getting there by saying "X, You are always right on time, fresh chips and battered sausage for you right on time". In other words, this is the best fish and chip shop in the world. The reason why I believe this is because I am a chip connoisseur and I know what equates to the perfect chip AND THAT.... IS THE ONE AND ONLY JOHNNIES CHIPS, delicious...

On 02 January 2025, i was coming from my appointment in South Kensington in the afternoon, I felt like having fish and chips, so I looked up the shop that is close, when I arrive there, first impression... I leave that for you to decide, but as I was hungry, I gave it a try, not prepared to make any judgement at this time, ordered my meal, and went to sit down, waited a little while for the food to be cooked freshly, when my order came containing large cod and chips with mushy peas, first impression, that looks good!!.. I begin to tuck in, well the truth for me is that the chips was done well and not oily, the cod was also presented the same, After my belly was full, I was happy to speak to the lady who served me, believe to the owner, I find her friendly and polite and forthcoming, small business, Unfortunately I don't live in the area, its down to you locals, if you love your fish and chips give it a try, I had read some reviews and I only can comment on what i see and know. I will definitely go back again when I am...

It's quite strange how this shop managed to pass health and safety standards and be allowed to offer food in Chelsea. My experience there earlier today was far from pleasant, as the quality of the food was the worst I've ever encountered. I ordered a chicken kebab with chips, but to my disappointment, the cashier charged me for a bigger portion without even asking. The chips were soaked in oil and seemed undercooked. Even the potatoes used tasted cheap and unpleasant. Additionally, the sauce provided was utterly disgusting, making me concerned about the hygiene in their kitchen and the freshness of the chicken used. I worried that I might end up with food poisoning from consuming such questionable food. Regrettably, I had no choice but to discard the entire meal in the bin. It's uncommon for me to throw away food, but in this case, I wouldn't have dared to offer it to anyone else, except perhaps the owner themselves. This experience left me deeply dissatisfied with the food quality and safety standards...
