Initial room was very unclean! I noticed how dirty the bathroom was with footsteps and hairs all over the shower floor. There were hairs on the chair at the table too. There were also missing towels. The luggage rack was also missing. It felt very unclean. We rang reception to request bathrobe and slippers but had to repeat ourselves 10 times as the receptionist didn’t understand us. The lights was also flickering giving me headache. After much back and forth with reception we then proceeded to ask for room change then was given a room directly a floor above which was MUCH better of what we would expect from Hilton. To top this all off, in the morning prior to check out we were woken up twice by the knock on the door from the cleaners both before 10 AM. We were to checkout that day and didn’t think we would even need to put a Do Not Disturb sign. We weren’t offered any apology nor compensation. I really did not enjoy my stay as they didn’t feel very hospitable.

We had a pleasant stay at the DoubleTree Hilton in Chelsea, London. The staff, especially Zahra, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Despite it being a Sunday, they kindly arranged an early breakfast to-go for us, which was much appreciated. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, providing a good night’s sleep. However, we were concerned to find two pillows with visible makeup stains, which raised doubts about the room’s cleanliness. While this was disappointing, the overall experience was positive, thanks to the excellent service. Unfortunately I didn’t take many photos, but the chair made a great display for my new bag 🙂

Clean room and spacious, especially compared to more central parts of London. I was pleased to get a King room upgrade with my HH silver status. The location is quiet but perfect for walking around Fulham and watching a Chelsea game at Stamford Bridge. Pretty sleepy area in the morning but very quiet and clean and near a bus line that connects to the Hammersmith underground. The famous DoubleTree cookie is as tasty as ever here upon check-in.

I dislike writing bad reviews but this is totally needed and hopefully it will help those who is visiting/staying, spending their hard earned money. Was a long stay guest awhile ago and the rooms were nice though it might be abit noisy at times. The location is really good as the surrounding neighbourhood is peaceful and access to central London is fairly easy. The service and staff though, unfortunately, is disgustingly terrible. Being a local resident, I still visit from time to time for a quick drink at the bar and their attitude and behavior deserves sacking. This is not a one of bad experiences but a multiple time occurrance. Rude, unprofessional, racist. For instances, after walking in and patiently waiting at the bar area, the staff clearly saw and made eye contact with me but happily ignored whilst continuing chatting and joking with other guest seated at the bar counter who has already been served. When I finally lost my patience and ask if I could get a drink, the response was a very questionable, "oh, what do you want?" Another even worse example, similarly, after waiting patiently at the bar whilst there were TWO staff members who was not busy whatsoever, they both had eye contact with me and it was absolutely obvious that I was waiting to order. Yet, they proceed to chat, joke, laugh and looked at the phones. After several minutes when I'm patience eventually wore off, I asked, "Are you going to attend to your guest or keep chatting?" One of them hesitantly asked what would I like and did his job. On both occasions, after I've paid, there wasn't even simple thank you or enjoy your beverage. Lastly, they have a small outdoor area just beside the entrance. I was having a smoke without being a nuisance (along with other guests), to my disgust, a staff member came to me and warned me not to smoke there. The best part is, there are ZERO no smoking signs and other guest was lighting up to. Yet, she only told an Asian not to do so. Almost forgot, do not visit if Chelsea FC is playing. The ground floor toilets will be trashed and they staff will say, "it's normal because football is on".

Gents, ladies, avoid this junk at all cost. Your money is much worth being spend at a hotel where you will at the very least get treated with...

The young lady who checked me in on the 25th March PM was great. I appreciated the room assigned, the drink voucher and her customer service. Delightful :) The room was fine. The standard one would expect. A much harder mattress than many hotels, be aware of that. The major problem was from 8am the horrendous noise from cleaners. Directly outside of my room, with the trolley, shouting to each other, playing a video on the phone, and banging the doors next to mine. Then proceeding to vacuum with the hoover. Far too early for this and way before checkout. I was woken 2 hours before my alarm was set. Lost out on sleep and unable to sleep again because of their behaviour! This was ironic since the receptionist told me of her own plan she would inform housekeeping not to disturb me. I also had the do not disturb on the door. So they are aware of guests sleeping at an earlier hour. When I checked out I mentioned this with no feedback or offer to speak to management. I attended my important interview and returned later to pick up my luggage. I decided to reflect my experience in the review. As I was asked to leave one. The reception staff are lovely but the housekeeping staff are problematic and impacting negatively on guests. This is something management needs to address. The practice of disturbing guests from early hours, earlier than normal needs to end. Location close to overground and a Tesco. Otherwise very out the way and seemingly complicated for Ubers to exit. I had one pick me up to leave who drove me £6 extra the wrong way to be trapped in a dead end blocked off road. Apparently the navigation system on Uber/Wayz does not reflect the actual route available. So be aware for general travel around London this location is not the most convenient. Be ready to tell taxi drivers which route to drive. The cleaners aside I felt the vibe was nice in the hotel. It’s not worth a higher rate all things considered. However for what I paid if the cleaners were not a problem, I would stay again. The 2/5 score has to reflect the housekeeping and loss of sleep. Front of house are let...

Requested upgrade didn't happen even though requested well in advance. First room, sink broke and nearly flooded. Took staff 90 minutes to agree to move me to another room so, almost missed dinner. When moving rooms, I wasn't offered any help. As I was moving room, carrying all my unpacked items, the new room's door key didn't work so, I had to go back to my first room and then back to the reception. Reception phones often took a few attempts to get an answer. The barman took 15 minutes to get to me stood at the bar even though there were only 8 people in total in the bar and only two sets of people waiting (nice guy, but understaffed as he was delivering food as well) New room wasn't clean. Hairs on the bed sheets. Marks on the bed sheets. Hair in the drawer. Hairs on the floor in the bathroom. The new room was much older decor than the first. Was very tired in comparison. Water running down the wall in the bathroom hadn't been cleaned off properly so, there were lines on the wall in the bathroom. In the second room I could hear the next room through the interconnecting door, fortunately not that late. On the second morning of my stay: a set of two new contact lenses had disappeared. These were unopened, new and sealed. the two small flannel towels disappeared. the instant coffee and sugar hadn't been replaced. both the teaspoons were dirty which was interesting as I had only used one the previous day.... The breakfast was missing one of the two eggs, salt, pepper, butter and honey even though they were individually, specifically asked for. I asked for those things to be sent again but, the breakfast would have been stone cold if I had waited as they took a further 15 minutes and the breakfast was mildy warm in the first place.

EDIT: I have upgraded a star owing to the professional manner in which my...
