In all honesty, eating here has me gobsmacked!

As a local I’ve seen other mediocre restaurants come and go on this corner- NOT THIS ONE

The customer service was fantastic, orders were taken straight away and staff were friendly throughout the entire meal, I even got a picture of one of the chef’s - they’re so happy.

The food was absolutely spot on, I am of Indian origin so I would like to think I am their biggest critic, but the dishes were faultless. It is very very clear they use fresh, high quality ingredients because you can taste the difference.

The food was served piping hot and the salad wasn’t the typical small pieces of onion in a bag! Proper slices of onion on the side.

Portion sizes reflect the price, I went with my fiancé, we could not finish the food and had to pack every single dish. I would say one main dish could feed 3.

5.The restaurant was clean and the chairs were very comfortable to sit in. The dishes were served in gorgeous tiny pots so I’d recommend dining in for the full experience.

Here are some photos of the dishes I got; they are all vegetarian dishes and tasted 10/10 so my theory is if someone knows how to make vegetables taste good, I have no doubt they will be able to make meat.

FYI I got everything mild because I can’t handle spice (…it’s a working progress)

I got the following;

A) “palak paneer” - this is spinach with cubes of cottage cheese, 10/10

B) “dhal makhani” - lentils cooked in a thick and creamy sauce

C) Garlic naan- this was SO soft

D) “peshwari naan” - this is a SWEET naan, adored for my sweet tooth fiancé, I like more savoury so the garlic naan was my favourite

E) Rice - clearly have used basmati rice, it’s cooked to perfection

F) starter - sesame tofu - AMAZING, so CRISPY yet succulent, will be ordering this everyday

G) drinks; “mango lassi” - lassi means a MILK based drink which is then flavoured with mango, or sugar (called sweet lassi) or flavoured with salt ( called salty lassi, very creative- unfortunately they don’t currently have salty lassi but the mango lassi was perfect.)

As you can see from my description and the photos this isn’t your typical Indian takeaway.

It goes without saying, I will definitely be back again!

Finally, to the chefs and staff, thank you for adding this lovely restaurant to this...

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID

I ordered a delivery from this restaurant last night at 18:40 at a cost of £40.00, 2 curries, 2 naans, 1 rice and a side dish, which is expensive, but I thought I’d give it a go to support a new business in the area.

The delivery lead time was to be delivered at 19:21 It didn’t arrive, so at 19:50 I called the restaurant.

Response. We’re very busy, so you won’t recieve it for another 20 mins - 20:10. The women was quite abrupt with a conversation happening in the background with the chef. I think she was probably under stress.

At 20:10, still not received…………. So at 20:30 I called the restaurant. This is nearly 2 hours from my initial order.

“We’ve ordered a cab, so will be with you shortly”

At 20:45 it arrives, it had taken over 2 hours to deliver a relatively small order.

Was the food nice? At this point I was not particularly hungry any more. The whole experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Your new business will not last long if this is the way you treat your customers.

Can I have a refund please? As I’m sure if I was sitting in a restaurant and waited over 2 hours, I wouldn’t be expected to pay for it.

I welcome a comment/explanation from the restaurant why this...

I recently dined at Kashi, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy meal with family or friends.

The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the delicious spread of Indian dishes. We started with the chats, which were bursting with flavor and had the perfect balance of spices and textures. Moving on to the main course, the dal makhani was rich and creamy, exactly how it should be. The veg makhanwala was equally impressive, with a delightful blend of vegetables in a luscious, buttery sauce.

The naans were simply outstanding – soft, fluffy, and the ideal accompaniment to the curries. Each bite was a testament to the chef’s expertise.

Overall, Kashi exceeded our expectations with its superb food and excellent service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy authentic...

We have been here multiple times and Kashi never disappoints. We came here this time for a group booking for 18 adults, Vijay went out of his way to provide us with a buffet (with unlimited meat, rice, vegetable & breads - which really was amazing value). The service was impeccable despite the large numbers. We also found that despite it being a buffet, the quality of the food did not suffer and remained really high, a problem other curry houses always seem to have. In short, amazing service, food quality & value for money. Will be back soon on our own and as a group!
