I don’t like leaving negative reviews on someone’s food business because I understand it’s their livelihood so I’m going to try & be as fair as possible but I honestly don’t know where all these 5* reviews have come from. Maybe I went on a bad day but 1st impressions are everything & I’m not gonna be going back. I’ve given a 3* instead of 2* because the all the food was edible except for the festival. I’m not sitting an eating a whole portion of stale festival.

I ordered everything that I’d usually order from my usual Caribbean so I can compare & everything overall was lacklustre.

I ordered a large jerk chicken with rice & peas, 2x Mac & Cheese, jerk wings, festival & a pineapple & ginger juice.

When I got home I took a bite of the festival & that was the only bite I took as it was stale, not fresh & the texture wasn’t nice. The rice & peas I don’t think was that fresh either, clumped up bits of rice & only ate about half the portion. The jerk chicken, if that was a large portion was a joke I can’t lie. It had a half decent kick of heat but that was it. Once all the chicken was off the bone it was definitely not no large meal. When I saw the mac and cheese was getting microwaved that broke my heart so that was very disappointing. Flavour wasn’t too bad or anything but overall lacking. Jerk wings just nowhere near the level of what I’m used to, I only ate 1 to see flavour etc but again disappointing & didn’t bother eating anymore. I hate to say this but the best thing about my whole meal was the fresh pineapple & ginger juice.

I spent £23 on my food & I wish I could have my money...

BEST CARIBBEAN FOOD IN LONDON!!! First time ordering and I was left speechless. Delivery time was 30-45 min but food still arrived popping hot. I ordered: “Jerk chicken and white rice”, Omgg the chicken was falling off the bone, had a flavourful smoky taste and the smoky sweet jerk sauce on top just topped it off, rice was nice too, “peppered prawns” were really nice as well, just right amount of spice and it came with a side of cabbage with mixed peppers. BEST CABBAGE I’ve ever tasted in my life! It was cooked to perfection and you could taste all the juices from the gravy in every bite, just amazing. I also ordered a cheesy beef patty and a callaloo one, they are huge! They were both nice but the cheesy beef one did it for me, it was loaded with beef and a right amount of warm cheese, unlike other places you could properly taste the beef and cheese together plus the flaky warm pastry soo tasty! I also got a grape KA and they put me and xtra drink THANK YOU GUYS! And lastly but not least I ordered their banana cake as dessert, I kid you not, it is TO DIE FOR!! If you are a fan of wet cakes, then you will love their banana cake, it was moist, soft and sweet, just like eating clouds. honestly if you reading this? order it and thank me later. Guys I don’t know who’s behind this kitchen but you are doing the God’s job on Earth with your food, please keep it up, and can’t wait to order from you guys again. Just Fabulous! I’m so full & satisfied...

Finally after traveling all around London trying different types of food I've found the best Carribbean shop! If your reading this we all know how traumatic it can be trying to get food from a Carribbean takeaway or restaurant. The word customer service comes to mind lol well here the young woman who served me greeted me on entry told me she would be with me in a moment and she did that with a smile! To be honest I nearly fainted. So already I had high hopes. Then a few more people walked in and even though she was busy and dealing with a deliverroo order she still greeted them.

Even more crazy is the meal I bought with a fizzy can! £4 absolutely unheard of, it's a small portion but value for money finally. I took jerk chicken peas and rice and two chicken patties all under £10... I'm just passing by so probably will never reach here again but for the next potential customer just go to experience the customer service! There is hope for Jamaican Food. Even the unit where the patties are stored has them labeled so I don't have to wait in...
