KFC Camberwell - Church Street — Restaurant in London

CLERK CALLED ME STUPID AND TOLD MY FIANCEE TO SHUT UP!!!

We chose this KFC over McDonalds. What a mistake! This female clerk took our order who was clearly not in the mood to work. She was rude and condesending. We ordered two meals with chicken breasts(!!!) and two bottles of water. After five minutes she came and said they don't have fillet burger, only zinger (spicy). I asked if she's sure cause that's odd but she just repeated no fillet, only zinger. We didn't want that so asked for our money back. The manager came to do the refund and told us they do have fillet it just takes 5 minutes to make. We were ok with that but we were told there was no fillet. Obviously she just wanted to get rid of the customers as quick as she could. After 10 minutes our order was ready when another clerk told us they ran out of chicken breasts(!!!). We became aggrevated and asked for our money back. When i asked the clerk why didn't she say they ran out she was just staring at me, not even trying to apologise or to admit she's incapable of doing her job. She wanted us to pay for the bottles of water we opened in the 10 minute wait. We didn't pay as all this was her fault so she started shouting at us as the supervisor refunded our money. She told my fiancee "SHUT UP!" when she told her she should change her job if she doesn't like it. We got very angry and told her she needs to change her attitude cause this is unacceptable but she carried on shouting. As we were walking out she shouted "STUPID MAN!" I turned around and started recording on my phone and promised her i will leave a review of her being utterly disrespectful. Even worse, the manager disappeared and the supervisor did not try to intervene to make her calm down. With this attitude she does not belong behind any counter to deal with customers. Last week I ordered the Party Bucket on Uber Eats delivery on Camberwell KFC. When the food eventually came to us it was missing the 14 piece chicken bucket. How can they forget the main piece of the party bucket?? I went to the store and showed them that the bucket was missing from the delivery and this was shown on the receipt. The two servers looked at my receipt and laughed behind the counter as if it was funny. Then one server said he’d give me the chicken and didn’t offer anything additional for my inconvenience of coming back into the store as there was NO chicken. Upon request he gave me additional chips. I said to them that I wasn’t happy and one worker said “why didn’t I cook at home?” They also said said “smile. It’s only chicken” and to “relax” . I’m really disappointed with my experience at KFC today. My mother ordered two chicken wraps, specifically asking for them to be plain with just a cheese slice. The server even confirmed with the chef twice to ensure the order would be exactly as requested. Unfortunately, when my mother got home and opened the wraps, they were covered in fiery sauce, which is exactly what we asked not to have. Not only was this a huge inconvenience, but my mother had to walk all the way back to the store to get the issue corrected. It’s frustrating when something as simple as getting an order right becomes such a hassle. It really makes me question the level of attention and care put into customer service.
