I had a very disappointing experience at KFC on Clapham High Street. I ordered the 10-piece Family Feast meal, only to receive just 8 pieces. Mistakes happen, so I called the restaurant to resolve the issue, but the response I received was shockingly unprofessional.
Instead of apologizing or offering a solution, the staff member I spoke to was dismissive and rude. He simply said he didn’t understand how it happened and told me to call customer service—without making any effort to help. When I questioned if that was really the best they could do, his response was, “Do what you want,” before abruptly hanging up on me.
As frustrating as that was, trying to contact KFC’s customer service was an entirely new struggle. There seems to be no real customer service at all, just an endless loop with no proper support. After getting nowhere, I had no choice but to leave this review here on Google.
This level of service is unacceptable. Not only was my order incorrect, but the attitude and lack of accountability made it even worse. A simple apology and a willingness to fix the mistake would have gone a long way. Instead, I was met with rudeness, indifference, and a non-existent customer service system.
I won’t be ordering from this location again, and I strongly advise others to think twice before doing so. KFC needs to seriously address both the customer service at this branch and their overall...
Read moreI started my Duke of Edinburgh silver award this week (god rest his soul) and part of my service was to help those in need.
I decided to go down to my local KFC as they recruit in line with the Equality Act 2010 and hire those with additional needs (protected characteristics and all that). I was served by a lovely young gentlewoman called Harry. He served my chips warm and handed me my popcorn chicken piece by piece. Felt like a proper Cleopatra. Service was superb.
Now on to the food, what in the Corneal Sanders is going on here. Chips were warm but soggy, the beans were burnt. Would rather flick the ex mrs bean than eat a kfc baked one and thats saying something, shes dead.
Finally on to my Tower Zinger burger, I think the twin towers had better treatment than my poor tower burger. The hash brown was abismal, the cheese was tasteless and the chicken felt like it had been chucked in the tumble dryer for 20 minutes.
Wont be...
Read moreSick of ordering 10+ piece KFC chicken buckets from this branch and, whether in store or online, they REFUSE to give breast pieces when requested to do a mix of breast and leg - I always specify "NO drumsticks" but still end up with pieces of leg meat only (drumsticks, thigh & wings) as they treat chicken breast like gold; I've been in store before and asked them to change but was told "breast pieces don't go into the large buckets!" My last order was a slightly different £16 order for 2 x 4-piece Colonel Meals (8 pieces of chicken, 4 fries & 2 x 7-Up) but I was handed a bag on my doorstep (driver immediately rode off) and, upon opening, I had just 7 tiny bits of chicken (4 drumsticks and 3 thighs), ONE small bag of fries and ONE can of 7Up. The counter staff are always rude and Incompetent. Additionally, there is no way of contacting anyone senior as the phone line just says it's not in operation due to Covid. Totally...
