KFC Rayners Lane - Alexandra Avenue — Restaurant in London

Most pathetic untrained customer service . While waiting for my takeaway , many customers arrived and the ladies behind the counter did not take their and kept them waiting. The till staff were just talking between themselves and looking busy. The customer left irritated and said will make a complaint. They staff looked at me and said they can’t wait a few minutes to be served . They thought it was a joke. I ordered my Meal of 4 pieces of chicken which they said is being cooked freshly and will take 10 mins . Fair enough no issue there . I ordered bbq beans with the meal replacement for a drink . No problem there also . However , I then ask to add an extra chips to the meal. Charged me £1.49. I asked them on the display board it says 0.99p for a large drink and side extra with the meal. Lady at counter informed because I ordered 5 minutes later it is full charge. I paid as I couldn’t be bothered . She thought it’s very smart she got extra 0.50p out of me . Staff are so stupid with customer skills that they lost a customer when they could have easily cancelled the order and redone the new order. The lady at the counter should get business women of the year. Once I received the order I asked them to confirm which they did . I asked for ketchup and was told they have run out when a lady next to her said please give the other tomato ketchup. No interest in Customer service . Only looking busy without any real output. It doesn’t stop there - once I reached home and opened my order found gravy instead of bbq beans. I don’t think I have ever seen so unprofessional and untrained staff for a long time....

The food is equally as good/bad as every other KFC but they have options on their self serve that they do not, never have and probably never will offer. I upgraded my drink to a hot choc at an extra cost. They do not do hot choc and the guy tells me they probably won't be doing it, as it's been weeks and they don't have the machine. So why, after weeks, is it still an option on the self service? He wanted to offer me a large fizzy drink. The only reason I considered a dink in the first place (as they only offer drink options that Pepsi own and we all know their entire drinks selection sucks, in fact, its the main reason I rarely go to KFC) is because I thought they had hot choc, otherwise, I would have went anywhere else. If you didn't know, the reason KFCs drink options suck, is because Pepsi bought them. Pepsi bought them so they had a fast food chain to force into only selling Pepsi owned brands. I hope this strategy ends KFC as it sucks.

Edit: and then I get to the food and realise, its not even what I ordered. Why did I waste my time and money. There seems to be some vile looking has brown in my fillet burger, smothered in a disgusting BBQ sauce and that fake plastic American cheese that I would pay extra to ensure isn't anywhere near my food. The wrapping on my chicken wrap was done inside out.

My chicken is all squashed up and no sauce that was with the meal!!!

There was HAIR found on my soggy fries!!

Latest update: Tried the KFC at the Basildon Branch today. They had offered great services. The chicken was cooked to perfection. The lettuce was fresh. The staff members were top notch.

However, it also then made me realise on how horrible & disgusting the Rayners Lane branch is!!!!

I feel with all these negative reviews piling up, the employees at the Rayners Lane branch should all be FIRED!!!!!!

They should all be fired for: -Serving undercooked chicken -Placing expired sides & vegetables in meals -Providing terrible services. -For having no sense of regard to health and safety. -Finally just showing absolute disregard to the customers!!!!

If anyone can inform their head office or start a petition to sack these degenerates running the Rayners lane branch then the community will highly appreciate...
