Staff spent more time taking in their own language between themselves then providing minimum customer service to their customer.
Also I was disgusted as I witnessed one woman whom served me at the till then when gathering 4 portions of chips to bag for me hadn't washed nor gloved her hands, that directly made contact with ALL the fries at the top of the packets.
Minimum expected food hygiene was not practiced (let alone enforced or worried about with this worldwide Pandemic) whatsoever with MY order.
Having not been greeted other than "WHAT?" with NO eye contact or attention whilst taking my order, then immediately walking away with absolutely ZERO conversation, then me witnessing ZERO hygiene practice to even meet the lowest accepted standards, then not bothering to nicely call me to collect my order, was just barked at to "come here"...
I thought this branch was awful when I visited 5+ years ago when it was an all male non English speaking team, I thought I'd give them another try as fancied something different, felt very positive seeing women alongside men finally, but they let themselves down & let KFC down.
Food was OK. Chicken was thoroughly cooked ( in the past it never was ).
Fries were nasty looking, nasty to eat with no taste. The tub lids on the beans & gravy.
Was soft & easy to eat, was juicy & full of flavour & given I'm not a fan I thoroughly enjoyed my sweetcorn cob.
Ssdly everything else almost entirely outweighs that hence why I can only offer 1 star.
This Borough is abundant with chicken shops/grills/restaurants and in my personal opinion, KFC as a major worldwide BRAND isn't living up to its marketing reputation.
A private or franchised grill shop ticks all the right boxes and all without the major advertising...

From the moment I entered the restaurant, Angela's commitment to her job was evident. I just purchased some food from here 30 minutes ago. one of the staff accidently dropped about 30 cup lids on the floor. she picked them up and placed them on the counter where my food bag was being prepared. I then was shocked to see these same lids get placed on the shelf along with the clean ones ready to be used for customers. that particular staff member didnt washs their hands either after collecting all the lids on the floor and went on about her work.
I called for the manager, a lovely lady called Kothi, and asked her why the lids which had been on the floor where next to my food. she said she would look into it?? I replied, what is there to look into... those lids need to go into the bin. She then walked off, and I called for her again. she called out without looking at me, "wait a minute sir". I waited a few minutes for her to return and mentioned that she hadn't answered my question.
I could see the staff training was lacking and I suggested that generally you should offer an apology and things that fall on the floor should not make it onto surfaces where food is pepper.
What a thing to see before receiving my food. disgusting.
