They had a special out front suggesting ANY 12” pizza for £5.95 and yet when I asked for the Hawaiian they told me that I had to order a Margherita and then choose two toppings. So I asked for ham and pineapple. They proceeded to give me a pizza with ham and CORN... I reluctantly ate it simply because I was hungry and couldn’t be bothered complaining. At the end, I went to pay and was told they have a £10 minimum — makes sense when you offer £5.95 lunch deals... Not. And as a millennial that doesn’t carry cash, I asked if they can do card anyway as a once-off to which she said no, and then said I had to go to an ATM. I then showed reluctance to do so, and pay ATM fees. She then offered to charge me £0.50 to put through the transaction. All in all, a very bad experience. The pizza was nice, but would definitely had preferred pineapple as requested.

Found this restaurant by accident (I couldn't be bothered to walk back to the car, after parking in the wrong place). Nice little place. I had pasta Gambaroni, witj prawns, courgette, and asparagus, not mind-blowing, but nice. The bread was a little tough, and it was served cold; I would have liked it warm. Humous was a little dry. My friend's pasta was lovely and rich. For lunch, the portion size was fine, but if that was dinner or I was super hungry, I would want a little more. What we paid was a wonderful surprise. Would I go again... maybe

They used to be lovely; very tasty baked pastas, vegetarian. We ordered from them often. They then sort of took a turn, we could no longer get the tortelloni or cannelloni (lasagne may still be on the menu; don't like bechamel, though, so no joy there). So I tried the mushroom risotto. It was hard, undercooked, not very creamy. Disappointing. Their website now reads "new management", perhaps this is what's happened -- they appear to be serving different dishes from all around the Mediterranean. Like Greece and Turkey. They're still ok, just were so much better last year; a favourite takeaway. We occasionally order when we want something fast and inexpensive, but it's a struggle for me, as there isn't much on the menu that appeals to me. My BF will eat anything vegetarian, so he's fine. The baked pastas on the menu again would be a step in the right direction. I give three stars, because they used to be four to five star. I'd honestly give two if I'd just started eating there recently. Out of respect for the yummy food they used to send us, with their lovely delivery man. I'm giving them one last chance tonight. No more spending money there, if their house special pasta isn't on par. Shame; I'd much rather spend money locally, than order from...

Rude Bad unpleasant customer service.

Was looking forward to trying out this restaurant for the first time as I live a few roads away, have lived and grown up in Leytonstone my whole life with all my family, friends and relatives. We have tried every restaurant in Leytonstone which we love and are regulars as we are locals. Always seen the restaurant thinking would really love to try some day.

This is the first restaurant in Leytonstone we have been to and unfortunately received bad rude customer service from a middle aged woman who seemed to be the onlyfront of house working today evening.

It's very sad as I would have passed on my thoughts if the customer service was good to other locals friends family and colleagues I know.

Very disappointed did not get to taste the food as the woman was being rude to us. As soon as we stepped in we its like she hated working there and was very annoyed that another customer came!

I personally would not recommend going here. Only purely due to the rude behavior of this individual staff member Very disappointed only if the owners or owner knew how this woman behaves. And if she is the owner or the owner or owners support this behaviour then there's something...

Awful service. We ordered via Deliveroo. Delivery time was constantly pushed back for a start. We called the restaurant immediately after ordering to inform them we needed to change the phone number on the account, which the manager took down and assured us with no worries that he would pass to the delivery driver. Hours pass and no food comes. We contact Deliveroo and explain what happened and are told our driver called our number and couldn't get through (we had called them 2 minutes after placing the order to avoid this situation).

Long story short they then lied to Deliveroo about having ever had a conversation about a number and completely absolved themselves of any responsibility. When I called back and told the manager my calls were recorded he suddenly backtracked and stuttered, realising that he had been caught out. Moral of the story is do not order from La Bella Vita. La Bella Vita?! More like...
