I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious breakfast at San Marino, a charming eatery located in Leytonstone Town Centre. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior was cozy and tastefully decorated, with ample seating options both inside and outside. The highlight of my experience at San Marino was undoubtedly the breakfast menu. The variety of options was impressive, and there was something to satisfy every palate. Whether you're a fan of classic English breakfast or prefer a lighter continental option, they have you covered. The dishes were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The ingredients used were of excellent quality, and each bite was a delightful combination of tastes and textures. What truly impressed me about San Marino was their reasonable prices. Despite the mouthwatering food and pleasant ambiance, the menu remained affordable, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking for a satisfying breakfast without breaking the bank. The portions were generous, ensuring that you leave satisfied and energized for the day ahead. One of the standout features of this place is the option to dine outside. On a sunny day, sitting at one of their outdoor tables was a delightful experience. It offered a lovely view of the town center and added to the overall charm of the place. The staff at San Marino were friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout my visit. They were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to accommodate any special requests or dietary preferences. Overall, my breakfast experience at San Marino was superb. The combination of tasty food, reasonable prices, comfortable seating options, and welcoming atmosphere made it a place I would highly recommend. Whether you're a local resident or just passing through Leytonstone Town Centre, do yourself a favor and pay a visit to San Marino for a satisfying breakfast that will leave you with a smile on your face

Firstly, the place is very nice, clean, decent amount of seating place inside that is comfortable and eating area outside which is great in the heat. The atmosphere is nice it's not too loud or too quiet. The service is amazing our waitress was super friendly and helpful she cracked some jokes with us and made the experience much nicer. Secondly, the food is really really nice. You can tell it's all freshly made and tastes super delicious. I had the American breakfast (halal version) which gives you turkey bacon instead of normal and beef sausages instead of the pork cumberland ones. The beef sausages were nice and soft and meaty but not full of flavour but their home made chilli sauce which was sooo nice helped with that. Hash browns were nice and crispy and fluffy on the inside. The turkey bacon was really good it was meaty not super thin and had decent flavour. The egg and toast was perfectly made as you can see from the picture. And the waffles was A+++ really fresh and delicious even the fruit was nice and ripe. Lastly, the french breakfast was amazing too. Instead of hash browns you get sweet potato which were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. And you get french toast instead of the waffles which was also delicious. And you get beans and halloumi with this breakfast which was perfectly made. Overall, I would definitely come back here since the service and food was top notch and they have halal versions of all the breakfast which is fantastic.

I've always enjoyed coming here as the service is always nice and friendly, the food is always tasty and pricing is just right! On this visit, we had the gourmet burger which came with chips and onion rings (perfectly fried), grilled chicken salad which was a deceptively large portion with plenty of chicken and the Turkish menemen - again, very filling, I opted to have feta cheese added. The menemen was nice although I felt the tomato sauce needed a bit more seasoning or 'oomph'. But I still enjoyed it. I was too full for dessert but my son had the carrot cake which he really enjoyed. It was a good size slice and it looked moist with plenty of walnuts. I'll be back (again!) If you're driving, you can park for free at the Tesco car park a few minutes walk away.

WARNING!

This place used to be really nice before they carried out their refurbishment.

I went to this cafe today, the milkshake I ordered was very watery. When I complained about it the waitress was very rude and said that's how it's meant to be. I insisted they made the milkshake again. When it came it was just as watery as the first one.

My food came in bits and bobs. Although they forgot about 1 thing i had ordered. I had to ask for it again. I ordered a peri peri chicken burger and chips. When I cut into the chicken, the inside was visibly pink.

I told the waitress that the chicken was pink and asked if she could bring me another 1 which was cooked properly. She was sooo rude and adamant that the chicken was not pink and that It was the red sauce. She didn't make any sense at all. She took the chicken back into the kitchen, and we saw the chef just recook the same chicken. I then told her I no longer wanted the chicken and that I wasn't going to pay for that meal.

She was very rude to a point where she told me I was going to pay for half of my meal and if I wanted another 1 I would have to pay extra for a new burger. She said the chef had 20 years experience, but if you have any level of experience you should know how to cook the most easiest meat. And if you can't get that right, then I really don't know what you're doing in a kitchen in the first place.

I went to the till to pay for my food but asked for a receipt before paying. I asked her very politely to take the chicken burger off the bill as I am not paying for pink chicken that I didn't even eat.

She was very rude in return and told me I had to pay for it. I was sooo polite to her, but all she kept giving me was major attitude. So I decided to walk out and not pay for my food at all. I was not happy paying for pink chicken and she refused to take it off the bill. On top of that she had absolute no customer service skills.

I would not recommend this place to anyone at all under no circumstances. All the staff are rude and the chef doesn't know...
