Really unfortunate that I have to write this review as I heard good things and was looking forward to trying this restaurant.
I tried to book a table for my birthday but had no luck with anyone answering the phone (seemed to get unlucky - every time I called over the span of 2 days, nobody answered and it would ring to voicemail). On the day I decided to turn up with a party of 8 to try and get a table, they were very busy but the waiter insisted the wait would be no more than 20 minutes which was alright. After waiting 20 minutes, we were told our table was 'ready' but ended up waiting a further 20 minutes for a table to actually free up.
We were then seated and it all went downhill from here. It took 15 minutes to get the menus, after being seated for 45 minutes we finally got our drinks. It took 1 hour 20 minutes for our food to arrive, just for them to mess up our orders. We then had to wait longer for the orders to be corrected. In the end they couldn't give us what we ordered and I gave up with trying so we decided to leave. The staff weren't very helpful or empathetic and the customer service was generally quite poor. It seems they lack communication skills.

Read moreDO NOT USE DELIVERY SERVICE. Three and a half weeks ago we ordered food online, on a Friday afternoon at 3pm. The restaurant called back straight away to say they didn't have a delivery driver until 5pm. I asked for a refund and they insisted they would just deliver the food at 5pm, which was no use so again I asked for a refund and they agreed, saying it should show in my account in the next few hours. Most refunds usually take 3-5 business says so I thought I would wait until the end of the following week for the money to arrive, despite what they had said. The refund never arrived and I have chased by phone several times. I last spoke to someone on Friday, who first of all asked if I would like the order re-delivered! Obviously trying to avoid giving a refund. He then gave me his email address and asked me to send over proof of the order and payment, which I did, and said the manager would call me back. Nothing. I sent a follow up email asking when I could expect a response. Nothing. Called again just now and was told the manager wasn't in and nobody could help and that someone else had already called that day with the same problem. DO NOT OFFER A DELIVERY SERVICE IF YOU CAN'T A) ACTUALLY DELIVER FOOD AND B) OFFER DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMPENSATION WHEN YOU FAIL TO DELIVER FOOD. Entered the restaurant for a table for 2 and was told to sit and wait. Many tables became free, but we were forgotten. We then reminded them after 15 mins and was then seated.
After another 10 mins we had to remind them we were ready to take an order, which we duly made. A set meal for 2.
In total we waited over an HOUR for our food to come. During this time we were frequently told the food was "ready and on its way". LIARS.
When we got the food it was luke warm and basically tasteless. DISAPPOINTING.
We were asked how our meal was when the plates were cleared and I explained I was not happy. The waiter then laughed and offered no sympathy. EMBARRASSING!
Upon leaving the restaurant I aired some frustrations of mine to the guy at the door, to which he just smiled, nodded. He did not care about us at all. PITY.
Unfortunately this is £40.80 I will never get back. However I urge anyone reading this to not make the same mistake we made. Don't spend your money in this shoddy establishment and pick somewhere else. I for certain will never be wasting my money here again....
