Lions Den — Restaurant in London

Bottom line: good and plentiful fried food. Had to stop in and give it a try since it was steps from our hotel. First impression from walking by several times; the place is always crowded. There is no seating inside, the ordering counter area holds 15 people or so crammed in, with more waiting outside. We each wanted a couple pieces of chicken, and I was going to order two of the two piece combos at about £5 each when I saw the small family pack at £12, so I gave the pack a try. There was SO MUCH food. 5 pieces of fried chicken, 6 spicy wings, 2 orders of fries, and two canned drinks. The spicy wings were the winner in this deal - crispy with a good kick. Could have stopped there. The fried chicken was ok, pretty typical, not spicy, not particularly crisp, but cooked just right inside. The fries were a regular size box, but easily the size of a large anywhere else, and were topped with a seasoned salt and optional sauces. Again, plentiful, but nothing special except to the hordes of starving school kids lined up to get them. As I’m writing this I’m in kind of a Garry fried food coma. Healthy: not a bit. Honestly, the best chicken I've had in London and I've been to many chicken shops. The pieces were moist and spicy, had the right crispy texture, lovely taste. The wings were brilliant, not like your average wings, these were jumbo. I like their food, and I'm glad I came back to tell him. The wings were full of meat, I'm salivating as I'm writing all this. The Fries were brilliant too, peri salt over it, followed it with a Strawberry Miranda I'll try and visit this place as often as I can, it's a bit difficult for me to get to as it's definitely a hidden...

Been here a few times and they often forget part of your order so you have to remind them otherwise you lose out and they still charge you. This time I got home with my takeout and found out I have a Magnum burger without any CHICKEN! yep just a hash brown sandwich. 1 STAR as they either keep forgetting to complete your meal or are deliberately short...
