first of all i would like to say this is in no way a filipino restaurant. none of the foods or dishes resembled nor tasted anything close to the foods eaten in philippines. Looking at the staff, the clientele and the halal stickers everywhere it was clear this wasn’t a filipino establishment; having said that the food was ok. Not boiling hot and most ingredients tasted they were previously frozen but they were edible and filling. The food here is definitely heavy on the carbs and the quantity of proteins you get for the money left me disappointed. Very tight. This isn’t specific to this restaurant however as many places of similar ilk in London do the same with their food. I will say the man on the till was polite and helpful in explaining how everything worked and how to order. The price was equivalent to a sit-down meal elsewhere on the street and here you get served in takeaway containers. Overall my food and drink was just ok, small and unmemorable. if you aren’t looking for or have not already tried real filipino dining then this will satisfy you but for those looking for that, i suggest heading elsewhere.

I came here to try Filipino cuisine and was quite disappointed that it’s mostly take-away. Although there are a few tables, there is no table service and the food is served in paper dishes - cutlery is disposable too. The food was tasty (I’m definitely interested in trying Filipino cuisine again), but I think it was over-priced for food being served in paper dishes. I had one main and shared a started with my friend and we paid £22 per person (no drinks). Considering that there are so many good restaurants in the vicinity, I wouldn’t rush coming back here.

Finally got a chance to go to Lorenzo’s Kusina in Hammersmith and it did not disappoint at all. We had the Jerk Inasal and the 8 hour beef. Not only did the food look great but the portion size and taste was amazing! Service from the staff was exceptional and I also got to try the calamansi juice which topped off a 10/10 experience. Will definitely go back here again!! 🔥🙌🏾

Lorenzo’s Kusina is a hidden gem that delivers authentic, home-style flavors with every dish. While the restaurant itself is simple and unpretentious, the focus is clearly on the food — and it shows. Fresh produce and high-quality ingredients shine through in every bite, bringing out the richness of traditional flavors. The portions are impressively generous, making it a great value and perfect for sharing with family or friends.

What stands out most is the authenticity and heart behind the cooking. It feels like a comforting, home-cooked meal, prepared with care rather than pretense. The straightforward setting allows the food to take center stage, and it doesn’t disappoint. Delicious, filling, and satisfying, Lorenzo’s Kusina is definitely a place worth returning to — and one that easily earns a...

So my man's Filipino so he's always raving about kusina, so we were nearby this branch so I thought why not. He always goes on about the 8 hour beef and the Jerk Insal so we got that and I think I found our new favourite spot.

The portion sizes were on point compared to everyone else nowadays giving a bare minimum. Food came hot. The guy at the til was so polite explaining everything and then he brought over these honey chicken bites as a taster which was so sweet of him and I'll be ordering that next time. Now I understand why he loves coming here, this is one of those spots that are well priced, well mannered, so clean, food is so good and the price is so good.

Thanks for...
