Haweli — Restaurant in London

We attended Haweli for a work Christmas meal in mid December 2019, We were a party of 14 however the restaurant was incredibly accommodating. Decor and atmosphere is relaxed and understated, the vibe is nice, and the staff are very friendly and very attentive. Quickly bringing over large crisp popadoms with an assortment of varied condiments and dips. I always think a restaurant with good condiments/dips means you are in for a good time! The orders were promptly taken, drinks re-orders were regularly taken The food was prepared in good time, although enough time was allowed for people to enjoy the evening and allow courses to settle.. food preparation and presentation is towards the mid-fine dining. very much prefer restaurants who don't over service portions. curry are rich enough without giving too much food for waste. juicy meat, flavoursome sauces, and zingy spice. we very much enjoyed the evening, and will surely return again in the near future. a number of the party commented that this was possibly one of the better Indian restaurants they have attended too in West London. Outstanding food and customer service.

Huge thanks to Faisal who looked very well after us and made a few recommendations, to include one of the daily specials.

The menu is elaborate with very good options. We had onion bhaji (fresh, crispy and tasty), Pindi chana (not to confuse it with chana masala) and a pumpkin dish (excellent) lamb naga (the special, excellent) Shahzadi chicken, along with two options of rice (lemon and pilau). We also ordered the spicy papadum and naan.

Everything was freshly cooked to perfection and very very very tasty, also reasonably priced. Thoroughly enjoyed it, all. Food arrived on a trolley. Very clean place, too.

Stunningly GREAT Indian food!!!! Superb service! I now travel to the UK sporadically, and a few years ago happened upon Haweli one evening...and am EVER SO GLAD I did! My usual curry house of the previous thirty years (in Fulham) had just gone out of business, no thanks to COVID, but this gem in Hammersmith superbly fit the bill! Cheers me ol' muckas!!!

Seriously, their cooking is excellent! Everything they make is an exact replica of my previous steady order in Fulham. But the other menu items are also superb. Yes, prices are in keeping with high end dining options, welcome to the world of eating...
