Muse Haus — Hotel in London

Found this Muse Haus on booking .com. The price I thought was excellent for a one night stay in London especially. Here on business. This is a love old house with great character features still visible in the house. It's a pity in the lounge area that part of the ceiling astatic was missing. |I had no problems with the front door key symptom but there was no handle to turn as directed in the instructions. I think this is a nice idea having a house like this to stay in. The communal areas were very clean as was the room I stayed in. Nice clean iron sheets. I did fell the red stair carpet was looking tired and quite dusty looking especially on the side of the steps. |Great tea and coffee ,along with milk|However fir a person staying one night I would of appreciated some bread and butter fir toast in the morning along with more of a choice if cereals. A person staying one night dies not want to buy a whole load of bread and a 1/2 lb butter..I was also surprised that there was television downstairs or in the rooms. I think tea and coffee should be available in rooms especially if you have problems sleeping. The stair case is creaking and some floor boards noisy and I did not want to wake my fellow house guests up in the middle of the night. I did have to use the toilet once at night and I noticed how squeaky the stairs and floor boards were. Booked for a weekend to see a gig at the Apollo.||Got the balcony room, but it used when we arrived so it had obviously not been cleaned.||Used bed, bathroom wet, towels used, no toiletries, smoke in the room and a bag over the smoke detector to avoid an alarm.||The only window in the place was broken & glass on the floor.||Door wouldn't lock to which my partner & another guest tried to close but to no avail.||Construction going on at the property next door so there was noise 24/7. This wasn't their fault but I spoke the property before departing for London and I was not advised of any works being carried out.||Tried to phone, email & use the live chat but nobody responded.||We left within 2 hours of arriving because it was a shocking welcome.||Looked for a refund but the hotel lied & said we never contacted them.||I had to go through a 3 day battle with Hotels.Com and Expedia to get any compensation.||Only got repaid for the 2nd night, but it is absolutely shocking service that they refused to refund us for the whole journey.||It was a disgusting property and horrible people running it so please save yourselves the hassle & do...

I really struggled to gain access to the property as the key code facility is faulty. When you get your confirmation it states that there is a fault with the lock as it sticks. Well fix it then!!||||I honestly thought I was facing a night on the streets as I could not get in.
