Beautiful Shop, Spoilt By Terrible Customer Service & Manners. Upon Entering This Shop I Noticed How Stunning All The Handmade Goods Looked. I Complimented Them Instantly & Was Met With Silence. I Found This Quite Rude, Normally People Thank People When They Compliment Their Goods. Maybe Thought She Never Heard Me So Said Again & Was Greeted With More Silence & A very delayed “The Woman You Just Saw Walk out Makes Them Fresh Every Morning”. Still No Acknowledgment Of My Compliment. Moving On I Ordered My Coffee & Decided To Order A Börek For My Partner For Later On. She Asked If I Wanted It For Now? I Said No Thank You. She Didn’t Respond, So I Said I’ll Have It Cold Please. She Gave Me My Coffee, Slammed The Börek Down On The Counter Which Sent It Flying Out Of It’s Packet Onto The Counter. She Didn’t Even Flinch, Just Handled My Food With Her Bare Hands, Placed It Back In The Bag, Tapped £10 On The Card Machine & Said “There You Go” Referencing Me To Pay. I Tapped My Card & Also To Add Another Customer Witnessed All Of This, Paid For My Goods & Advised Her She Should Have Manners As Basic As Please & Thank You. For A Beautiful Shop Located On Highgate Road, I Would Be Appalled If My Staff Had That Type Of Work Ethic. Shame Because I Won’t Be Visiting Again Although The Coffee Was Amazing. My Money Is To Hard Earned To Throw At Unappreciative Businesses With Terrible...

I’ve been a regular customer and usually enjoy the drinks here, especially the iced Spanish latte. But today’s experience was really disappointing.

The drink I received was very poor, just watery coffee, nothing like what I’ve had before.

I went back to the counter to try and resolve the issue, but the barista was quite dismissive, saying, “What do you expect? It’s iced coffee.” They remade it, but it was still just watered down coffee, something I could’ve easily and badly made at home.

Honestly, the customer service was just as disappointing as the drink. The manager who came to assist was also condescending and lacked basic customer care.

I usually have very positive experiences with the staff here, but today has definitely left a sour taste...

This coffee shop has become a regular stop for me, and for good reason. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, which makes a big difference. It’s clear they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in what they do.

The food is excellent — fresh and full of flavour. They’ve got a great selection of salads, sandwiches, toasties, and some really tasty sweet treats. Whether you're grabbing lunch or just stopping in for a coffee and something sweet, you won’t be disappointed.

The shop itself looks great — clean, well laid out, and a comfortable place to sit and relax for a while. It’s the kind of place you end up coming back to without thinking twice.
