Turned up to see a band play (the Fews), with a few friends. We turned up late, about an hour and a half to 2 hours after the listed start time. Assuming there would be a support andthen the Fews would play we thought we could still catch some of their set as bands normally take a long time to set up and supports take maybe 30 mins to an hour. To double check we asked the door man if the band was still playing to which he replied yes. So we entered paying a £15 entry fee to find no one on stage. we then went back to the person doing the stamps at the door and they said there were more bands to come. After about 20-30 mins of set up a band came on for about 20 minutes and then they packed away all of the stage. The band wasn't even the listed headliner (the Fews) and I'm pissed that I payed 15 pounds to see a small time band I don't even know because the staff of the venue lead me to believe the Fees were still happy. Beyond that the venue itself wasnt amazing and looked cheap which wasn't reflected in the price,...

Went on Friday 29th September for a Matt Andersen gig. Matt was great as per usual, but the venue gets a massive 1 star for ALL of their draft beer taps being out of action.

Instead they sold you pricier bottles, poured into plastic cups, which were room temperature despite coming out of a fridge. The supply of bottles they kept bringing out were also warm. Who wants warm lager from a bottle, at a gig on a Friday night? Ridiculous planning. Or no planning, most likely.

Towards the end of the night they put some bottles in a bucket with ice but by that point it was nearly time to leave.

Cannot recommend this venue to any musicians...

AVOID!!! Complete Scammers! Music was great but whoever is running the bar are complete scam artists. All night the bar staff claimed ALL draft beers were off for some “unknown” reason and I’m not talking one or two taps, literally every tap had a plastic cup on it. You’re then forced to buy over priced bottles. When I kept asking about the draft beer, I was told it’s because it’s not at the right temperature, when I said this wasn’t an issue and I insisted they serve me a warm beer draft beer, they sheepishly did it and what a surprise, the temp was fine.

Decent music,...

Walking into the dome, there were no reservations open palms with a full throttle genre of heavy death metal music. A one minute walk from Tufnell park Underground station or a 15min walk from Upper Holloway Overground station the dome is a small entrance which could easily be missed if not for the bright red sign above. After a security search you are walking down to the basement to find yourself in a respectively small darkly lit enclosure. Headliner: Arkona Support Act: Ghosts of Atlantis
