We have just visited today the pool and it was open. It's a great pool for babies, toddlers and older children. My 3 year old had a good time although he didn't stay for long in the water because of the wind (it's handy to have a towel). The good thing is that there is playground next to it immediately with toilets so you are all sorted. I gave four stars as my son enjoyed both the pool and playground. Read moreSuch a lovely place for children but also grown ups. Who doesn’t like to splash about and have fun? It’s clean, it’s safe and has accessible toilets and handy shower outside for refreshing. It has non slippery surfaces and lovely grassy area for picnic. Only downfall is that is accessible only through actual kids playground and not directly to the pool. Another downside is there isn’t any decent cafe or restaurant to dine in or buy refreshments or snack but what do you want from free public pool? Still amazing that is...

There are often older kids who run about which then involves me having to step in once they come close to knocking smaller kids over but what can you do. The paddling pool next to playground is a lovely place to splash around with the little ones. my niece loves throwing water about.
