Mazzi's Cafe — Restaurant in London

I visited on a recommendation and found the staff to be absolutely lovely, which made for a welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing.

I ordered an omelette with chips and salad. The chips tasted as though they’d been cooked in old oil, and the omelette although generously filled with cheese, used a very low-quality, plastic-like cheese that made it watery and inedible. The salad wasn’t fresh either; the lettuce was wilted, and the cucumber tasted stale.

On a positive note, the latte was very nice, and the location is great. However it would need some improvements to food quality and more regular oil changes for me to consider...

This is my favourite cafe. Unfortunately it is too far from my home, but I visit every time I am at Claddish, the school uniform shop in Wallington. Love the omelettes and the Eggs Benedict/Royale. All the staff provide service with a cheery smile. It is clean, hygienic and has an open kitchen. If you're having food out, definitely pop in for a visit. I come here twice a week for lunch. It's a really good cheap basic cafe. All their food is prepared on site and always fresh. You get a complete cross section of people in here. Office workers; mums and toddlers; people with their elderly parents, carers with their clients, builders. It's a fascinating place to just watch the world. The food is good quality and good value.
