Nice decor and impressive bar, but food was average at best. I went over there with my family for first time today and I'm disappointed. We had squid & prawn duo, of which squid was nice but prawns had rock hard cornflake kind of breadcrumb on them. Didn't received lemon mayo with that. Arancini was OK, but very bland. Maybe spicy mayo will help with that, but we didn't receiced it either. Sharing platter (I don't remember exact name) was disappointing: cold and plain tortilla chips (literally just tossed from package, no cheese or anything on them), cheap tasting sausage which taste like it was batch cooked beforehand, chicken gujons taste like cheap frozen product from Aldi or Iceland and pretty generic BBQ chicken wings were on a dry side as well. To be honest they tasted like frozen, ready product as well or as they have been cooked beforehand and reheated in oven. Onion rings were nice, but you can hardly mess this up. Also, they supposed to be beer battered but if I remeber correctly they were in breadcrumbs as well, so maybe they are coming ready in packets as well. With this we didn't received advertised dips again(it seemed to be a patern), just pot with sachets of mayo, ketchup, etc... and some of salt sachets inside were mucky and in stains. Finally we get Smothered chicken which was kind of OK, but chicken itself was was bland and onion rings were missing. BBQ sauce wih that was just generic BBQ sauce, can't really say anything more about that. Enough said that the best part of our meal was non alcoholic mojito which my wife ordered. I must completement waiter (AM or GM perhaps?) who greet as the door and lead us to the table. He was all smily and friendly even though he was clearly working like donkey today. Hat off for him. Shame that waitresses were completely opposite to him (they look like they don't want to be there at the first place, leave alone any attention to customers). Overall was no attention whatsoever putted in our meals or sevice and after we get our plates nobody care about us anymore. For that, even though we working in industry, we didn't leave any tip. Just couldn't justify it at all. I understand that everywhere was crazy busy today and for that reason we didn't make a fuss, but we will not be back anytime soon. Shame, because place look realy nice and bar look like it have great...

My daughter visited this establishment with her friend for her friends birthday and was turned away after the ‘manager’ upstairs began to engage in a dispute with my daughters friend about her ID and wouldn’t let her speak to the manager.

My daughter was not involved in this discussion and as you will see on camera All she said was ‘can you please let her off this time, its her birthday’ And the woman responded ‘No I can’t, you need physical proof of your ID’ as her friend had a picture of her ID Things are forgotten sometimes, have some compassion, it was the girls birthday She travelled all the way to Uxbridge with a baby only to get thrown out and my daughter to be lied on by this woman when she was only trying the mediate the situation

The woman lied and said my daughter was acting aggressive towards her and using foul language And as much as her friend was upset and did swear no one was acting aggressive My daughter and her friend are black so of course thats the first thing the woman would imply ‘They’re aggressive’ ‘I was scared for my life’ Honestly such a shame and a let down. If you’re black think twice before coming here.

Also when she called to rebook the table for a different time they were ignoring the phone calls and when they did answer, they were not trying to help at all and were just telling her to do it herself on the app, when the booking app was not working.
