Great service, with Jack Being amazing with his knowledge of the menu and checked multiple menu items for garlic, with the kitchen team aswell due to a garlic allergy. The first thing he said when we first asked about the garlic in a starter was ‘ Is that an allergy?’ This shows great care and attention on his part as a garlic allergy is not one of the most common and he still took it very seriously which is great to see, and this along with his knowledge of the menu and overall friendly demeanour, helped to make the meal that much better. The food was brilliant, despite the restaurant having a fancy persona, the style of cooking has way more to offer than an average fancy ol restaurant. The chefs in the kitchen must have magic hands as any food that we had was bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection, even the mac and cheese was solid with perfectly cooked pasta and a load of cheese and just a slightly crisp top = heaven in a pan especially for a cheese lover. The starters we got wings (obviously), calamari and nachos. The nachos were real good and the sauces on them tasted super fresh, they could have easily been made on site, the calamari was crispy and soft with a really nice black garlic aioli for dipping, which is now my got to sauce when I come back again, and finally the wings…..my good god the wings ….. These little beauties were super crispy, super juicy and the rum sauce onto was the right balance of sweetness for the wings, easily one of the Top 5 wings I’ve ever had. Onto the mains, the ribs were super soft will and nice smoky flavour and just as you'd expect they fall right off the bone. The butchers burger was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time, a burger can be so simple, it’s easy to overcomplicate but when it’s done right, it's a different game and the butchers burger is not just a burger done right, but a slam dunk, hole in one combo of huge flavour from the burger that’s seasoned spot on, the egg that just runny enough to coat the burger but not to drown the plate in egg, the lovely addition of some fillet tails just to remind you that you can never have enough meat in a burger and then the monterey jack cheese and bearnaise sauce create a perfect base for the other flavours to build on.There is also a very interesting surprise in the burger in the form of an onion loaf, which is essentially onions baked into bread and is super crispy and is a nice variation from the typical onion rings. Finally the desserts, sweet treat city. The banoffee pie was great, super sweet with a good balance of layers, much prefer a slice of pie than a cube of pie but that's just an aesthetic, the taste is what matters and its spot on again, the other dessert we tried was the chocolate hazelnut bom, it was a super indulgent ball of ganache coated in hazelnuts and chocolate nibs, it was super rich but if you're looking for a rich chocolate experience this is the answer and it’s paired with a pecan praline ice cream which could easily be a dessert all on its own it's that good.

We had a really awful and unfortunate experience at this M&C branch yesterday (Sunday 23rd of July) Myself and my partner were there for an early dinner (5pm) and planned to order cote de boeuf to share which we have done and enjoyed at this location multiple times. Unfortunately, they did not have it in stock, so we have ordered chateaubriand medium rare. When the steak came out and we have cut it, we have been surprised to find there was no pink in the middle and the steak was served to us medium well. We have called our lovely waitress, who has agreed that this is not great and she will ask the chef to remake it. This is where the nightmare started! 2 mins later a young blonde lady (unfortunately did not take her name) came out and tried to say that the steak that is not even pink in the middle (I really should have taken a photo of it!!) was perfect, she was abrupt and rude about it, acting like we have never been to restaurant - perhaps she did not want to be at work on a Sunday, but it wasn’t our fault and she did not need to take it out on us! The second steak then took 20 mins to come out and when it did it was just a slab of raw meat, inedible and cold, accompanied by burned to crisp sides. The so called manager then came again and told us “to enjoy it the best we can”. At this point, it was obvious that our business was not wanted there, so we asked our waitress to take this steak that I wouldn’t even feed to my dog back, and let us pay for our starters and drinks so we can go home, as at this point we were there for 2 hours with no edible steak in sight. To the credit of this establishment, once we have paid, a different manager came out, her name was Sarah. She has given us our money back and apologized. Her and the waitress who served us is the only reason I’m giving this 2 stars and not one. Overall, awful food, the first manager (young blonde lady) should not be in customer service and the only good things were our lovely waitress and manager Sarah. This is our local M&C and we have been for dinner many times but will never be back after this.

Miller & Carter is a fantastic steak house to visit with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The sides that come with most meals aren't visually what you'd expect but this chain offers you a little more than your standard side plate of limp greens. They serve fresh, satisfying and unbelievably tasty dishes regardless of what you order. The price is a tad expensive but you certainly pay for what you order. I have never visited a Miller & Carter without praising the chefs for their wizardry as every dish is cooked, presented and delivered better and quicker than you'd expect. I've tried multiple cuts of steak across my visits, and there has never been a time that I thought that the food was anything short of perfect. They treat all their customers well, the atmosphere is wonderful, restaurant and their staff are trained extremely well. I certainly didn't know what steak to choose from the vast selection of cuts but the waitress I had explained each cut, sauces and sides to me.. she even suggested a wonderful wine to go with my meal. She wasn't wrong either. I save Miller & Carter for special occasions but I know that every time I leave, I am an extremely satisfied customer. Overall; I think his branch and chain is an amazing place to go and would recommend to all to experience the joy.

Food was nice as per every visit, however the service was this was dreadful , we got sat in a busy area with our 4month baby and pram in between kitchen and tills with loud families and xmas work parties behind us , we were served by 3 different waitresses, one of them did not look at all interested and said it’s not my table it’s another staff members called Lauren , then someone else came and served us for drinks after 20min of waiting since being sat down , it was very busy and loud and congested, there were 2 staff members playing and joking a young girl with a fringe and a guy with a beard by the tills whilst we waited to be served , we then finally got served after waiting 25-30min from someone , shortly after around 5min later the person who was meant to serve us came to take order and said i was on lunch break we had already ordered our food and said we’re fine , we didn’t get looked after most the evening at all and felt more ignored and unimportant , we waited 30min for the bill at the end whilst sitting on a cleared and empty table, we then left and wasn’t helped with the doors and buggy the same as when we arrived and no one said goodbye or thank you.

I appreciate it was busy and on a saturday night but overall a very bad experience for a birthday meal with my partner and baby won’t be going back to the bromley restaurant...
