The restaurant is finally up and running in Hayes. In a run up to Christmas I would advice to book couple a weeks in advance as this place is very popular at the moment. 1. Food - I have ordered a selection of grilled meats, hot and cold mezes to start with. Main (meat) meal I have found cooked very well. Not over/under cooked. Starters were good, although aubergine missed a hint of cinnamon in it, was pretty tasteless.. Also chilli and garlic sauce was ok but served in the tiniest little serving pot I have seen in a while. Price wise totally in the range for this sort of restaurant/setting. Mains menu ok, I would love to have some good quality chicken and lamb kebab (doner) being served! My mouth is watering when I am writing this at the moment ;) such a shame there is none at the moment.. Also this place isn't serving lahmacun - what brings a BIG big sadness to me. As I would definitely order it to take away as my children love 'Turkish pizza'. I must bring one this up it is quite IMPORTANT - as on the menu it says Main (meat) dish is served with RICE & salad... I must say that there needs to be a correction as I wasn't served RICE (pilaf) I was served red bulgur wheat - it is vital that this mistake is corrected as rice is gluten free and bulgur ISN'T so someone that is gluten intolerant wouldn't be too happy not to mention the consequences if they haven't noticed and ate it! 2 Drinks... ok.. cocktail list not impressive.. at 7.95 £ per drink a bit pricey...I have not had wine - hence cant really elaborate on the price.. I have asked for a cocktail out of the list - not possible to order... so I'd give it a 3/5 overall. 3 Atmosphere and sitting space. Okay... Ive had a ''good' table.. but would not be happy to sit at the one in the front middle row... also leaving I have to squeeze a bit as table is awkwardly placed in order to squeeze more customers in.. As I have sat at the table there was no candle lit at all and lights remained fully on all evening (much prefer lights dimmed a bit) ... also I could not hear the music at all... so over all atmosphere 2/5 and the bench Ive sat on kept on tipping forward each time I have leaned towards the table. Staff ok not overly attentive throughout the evening - but it was very busy. At the end of the evening one of the waiters started pushing drinks a bit most of the evening we had to look out for someone to order. and finally: Additional suggestion - I believe this restaurant should be aiming to be as authentic as possible in order for customers to return. I hear Hayes Kebab owner is also owner (or one of owners) of this place.. Hayes kebab I'd give 5/5 each time so I am hoping that this restaurant will follow up with a good fortune and serve only best and authentic Turkish cuisine! I would recommend for the manager to look at serving little pot of olives as the customers are sat down as well as some bread free of charge also Çay is customarily is served free of charge - this is a vital part of Turkish culture, as much as I understand that staff wages have to be paid out of something - I do not find it a great excuse to drift away from this tradition. Overall I think it is ok. I am hoping that improvements will be made (hence 2/5 in my review) I am going to return once in New Year to see how it is doing and if any progress is being made. Hope Ya guys all enjoy this review :) x L

An absolute unreal feast at Tugra, we truly got spoilt! This beautiful restaurant and wonderful staff started the experience perfectly, followed by a refreshing cocktail to get our taste buds tingling. The table was greeted with a spinning dish of flavour punching dips 🔸️Aubergine 🔸️Tzatziki 🔸️Hummus 🔸️Spinach 🔸️Taramasalta 🔸️Shredded chicken, pesto and sundries tomatoes With a side of fresh Turkish bread 🍞 We also had a platter consisting of 🔹️Calamari 🔹️Filo Pastry with Feta cheese and spinach 🔹️Turkish sausage 🔹️Halloumi 🔹️Falafel We absolutely loved this, perfect sharing platter and so many flavours! Next up we had the BEST Lamb Chops I've ever had! They were so fat and juicy I've never had a chop served to me this big, absolutely amazing quality! This was served with a side of Bulgar rice. We also had some huge tiger prawns, which were cooked to perfection and presented wonderfully with a side of wedges. Not forgetting the chicken kofta and lamb kofta in the Filo Pastry, an absolute winner! A burst of flavour and creaminess in one bite 😋 Lastly the refreshing Feta Cheese Salad to compliment all these dishes 🥗 This was all executed to the highest standard and served with a smile. They have an amazing private room downstairs, with catering, bluetooth speakers and your own private bar. This looked fab and I will be booking this in for the family get together 💜 We will defintley be going back to Tugra and I would highly recommend this restaurant you won't be disappointed!

Went to this lovely restaurant for a friend’s engagement party and the food was absolutely delicious! I was very pleased with the service and friendliness of the waiters/waitresses and my whole experience here. The manager was also very attentive to our needs and was very involved in helping his staff with the night. The food was definitely some of the best Turkish food I have had in the area in many years. The chefs did an incredible job! The starters, mezes and bread tasted great and then I had Lahmacun and we shared a mixed platter with rice. There isn’t one thing I can fault this restaurant for. They are fairly priced for the quality and services they provide. I would 100% recommend this restaurant for authentic Turkish meals and especially for events. They have space below for celebrations and their toilets are also downstairs and kept very clean. There is parking available outside and in a car park just next to the restaurant, however you will need to pay.

Food was 10 10 but service was terrible this particular day!

We went on Saturday to celebrate my sister in laws birthday. We loved the service and the food before when we celebrated my brothers birthday there in June so we wanted to come again.

We were a table of 10 persons and we ordered four platters of the chefs special which we did last time. Servers somehow only brought out the meat platters with rice without serving the starters which was the dips with the pitta bread. Server(probably the manager for the evening) advised us saying he asked us several times but we pointed on the menu what we asked for and proceeded to be rude - we said honestly it’s not a problem you can bring it out at the same time we will have it alongside the meat platters that we had ordered.

The sauces and dips came out and we all enjoyed the food - servers refilled tap water constantly which was great. My brother on his way back from the toilet after we all had finished asked if it was okay to bring the doughnuts we had given him and if he can put the doughnuts on a plate with the candles (in a tower form). We assumed they would clear our table before bringing this out like they had done before at my brothers birthday in June!

However the server brought the box of doughnuts in the box with the candle without it being served on the plate to the table. At this point the table was not cleared and we had to manoeuvre all the plates aside on the table to make space for the doughnuts.

This server went away and brought side plates and cutlery which is super nice of them but he proceeded to tell us that they would’ve normally cleared the table before bringing the cake but we had ASKED THREE TIMES to bring it over - which my brother didn’t he only asked the one time. I didn’t appreciate that he was trying to blame us - we tried so hard to be nice to the servers.

We were so disappointed because we do love the food at this restaurant! We also usually always tip but because of this service we chose not to this time unfortunately.

If anyone decided to go - maybe go on a Friday - because the female restaurant manager was amazing - she was so much kinder and made my brothers birthday special and amazing. Who ever was the male restaurant manager or server for our table this Saturday...
