Ming of the Avenue — Restaurant in London

Someone that likes flavour this isn’t for them.. very disappointed as it was my first time. Portion and the price £23! Not worth it a Chinese should last the next day and should be finger licking good.

I love flavor and love a good old Chinese this lacked on it. tasted unseasoned like old people.. very bland I even asked for spicy the noodles were thin and the curry had vegetables on them??? Sweet and sour chicken was probably the best they had 6/10 I didn’t get the satisfaction after eating a good Chinese. 4 of us dined on Saturday and the food was decent , We booked for 8.30 pm and by 9.15 we were the only ones left , whilst wasting our main courses they proceed to sweep up around us and relaying the tables plus moving them into different parts of the restaurant, when we finished we were asked if everything was ok ? I replied that it was not and asked why they were sweeping up around our table and re arranging all the tables , The lady did apologise and said they had a large booking to set up , I asked when and was told Monday night ! This used to be the best Chinese anywhere in South and probably most of North London. People travelled for miles and I have been eating here for 25 years, but my last two visits were very different. The food was not as good, the 1st time I put it down to bad luck but last week it was the same and when I enquired where Sue ( the owner) was, initially I was told she was on holiday, but the table next to me told me she had sold it to new owners and there were different chefs and staff.
