I ordered a take away tandoori chicken with nan bread. It eventually arrived 20-25 minutes late. Before I accepted the delivery I told the delivery person ( incidentally from Just Eat) that it was lukewarm and that I would not accept the delivery. After discussing why I wouldn't accept the delivery, at the same time I was also speaking to the take away. After some time Radhuny agreed to deliver a freshly made tandoori. I accepted this in good faith and returned the delivery. I didn't expect to get a phone call back almost immediatly from the take away to advise me that the fresh tandoori would be delivered in 10 minutes and was told it was already on it's way? I suspected that the Radhuny was trying to pull a fast one on me. When it arrived I questioned the delivery person (the same person who originally delivered the first tandoori to me) if it was a fresh tandoori, he assured me that it was ( it felt the same temperature as the original, Luke warm). In the meantime I had a call from Radhuny that they would knock off a certain amount for the inconvenience caused. As soon as I started eating the tandoori I realised that it was the same tandoori that was delivered originally. I immediately phoned Radhuny to complain but he denied that it was the same. After questioning him and advising him I was born in Bengal , India (Kolkata) he started to backtrack and put me onto another person to speak to. This gentleman was most apologetical and offered to cook me a fresh tandoori in my presence, and offered it to me free of charge. Is this a form of apology or was he worried I was going to take it further, which I threatened to do. I will call Bexley Council tomorrow morning to find out what further action is...
Read moreDid a Deliveroo order with Radhuny last night. We ordered at 18:30, estimated delivery was 19:20. By 19:30 I hadnât heard anything, no tracking available so I called to just get an update - was passed between two people, a rude manager and the female who answered âwhat do you wantâ when she picked up, was told âgive me ten minutes, theyâre just cooking it. Weâre busyâ. By 20:00 I still hadnât received our food, I called again, the same female picked up and kept having to put me down to find the manager, she came back and said âoh itâll be ten minutesâ. I explained Iâd heard that half an hour before and asked for an ETA, she asked what ETA meant. Eventually our food turned up 2 hours after I had ordered, with broken poppadoms in the bag and one of the saagâs had leaked slightly. Very disappointing. Impression I get is they prioritise phone orders and leave the online ones to the last minute when you chase for them - highly unlikely to ever order...
Read moreOrdered a curry, rice, bombay potatoes naan bread for delivery and found 5+ multiple sharp pieces of plastic in my food. Not just a one-off mistake, but literal choking hazards embedded in what was supposed to be a decent meal. When I brought this to the staff's attention, they didnât apologise. Instead, they denied it, then casually admitted they donât care about reviews or food safety. Their attitude was as disturbing as the plastic in my meal. If you're wondering whether to eat here: don't. Unless you enjoy risking your health and being treated like you're the problem for pointing it out. Places like this shouldnât be allowed to serve the public. Iâm genuinely shocked and appalled theyâre still in business!! Letâs see if they still don't care...
