I used to like coming here before it changed ownership/management. It now seems to have gone downhill.

I cannot comment on the food as I didn’t get a chance to try it. I walked in as a group of 3 and were seated. We were ready to order in about 5 minutes. The waiter was busy making drinks for about 15 minutes and didn’t look in our direction once. 3 other tables then walked in and the restaurant was full. All of a sudden, after over 15 mins of waiting to make my order, I see the waiter go up to one of the tables seated after us and take their order. I therefore got up and left as I didn’t have too long and got the impression the service was going to be slow and inexperienced.

Not knowing the order of table priority indicates to me a lack of experience or skill, as you should recognise you want to get orders in from tables who have been there first surely? I am not a fan of disorganised and slow service.

The decor is very dark and oppressive too. For such a small room I would have kept colours light and tried to bounce light and space around to make it look bigger. It’s now all pitch black.

4 of us had a fabulous night at Viet Alley. The food was tasty and fresh. Particularly relished the crunchy summer rolls with their taste bud-tickling dipping sauce.

We much appreciated the opportunity to bring our own alcohol, with no corkage fee.

We paid under £18 each for delicious Pho and summer rolls.

Keep in mind that they don't allow you to split the bill so has to be done on one card.

It was super easy to book a table of TheFork, and the restaurant were expecting us when we arrived.

We'd definitely go back.
