My experience at Badger Badger in Deptford was absolutely horrific, and I feel compelled to warn others to avoid this place at all costs. During my visit, my phone was stolen by a woman who walked into the pub, wandered around freely, and had complete access to the area without any interference. It’s incredibly unsettling that this kind of behavior was allowed to happen, especially in a place where they charge an entrance fee, yet fail to provide any real security or safety measures.
The staff seemed more concerned about reminding us that our session was ending than about keeping an eye on intruders. Despite clearly seeing the woman roaming around, no action was taken. After the theft, the staff did file a police report, but their attitude was shockingly indifferent. They showed no real concern for the situation or for the safety of their patrons. To make matters worse, they still had the audacity to charge us for the session, even though our experience was ruined by the theft.
I find it completely unacceptable that a venue would allow such an incident to happen without taking proper action. This place clearly has no regard for customer safety or well-being, and it’s deeply frustrating that they continue to operate in this manner. I strongly advise against wasting your money here. Your safety is not a priority for them, and it’s simply not worth the risk. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to spend your...
Read moreThis restaurant is spacious - the left interior from the entrance is where you can dine in and have drinks, while the interior on the opposite side is where you can play board games.
We came there for food, as it was one of the few restaurants open till late.
I ordered the Japanese Salad Box with Chicken (£10.50) and the Tiger Fries (£6.50). The Japanese Salad Box was OK. I didn’t enjoy the peppers in it but that might be different for other people. There was a lot of crispy onions, which was a bonus. There wasn’t enough chicken - I believe there were only three pieces of chicken. Also, I found it a bit dry and not as flavourful as I had hoped. I think it needed a bit of sweetness like light Teriyaki.
However, the Tiger Fries were really good. They were crispy and perfectly paired with the crispy onions and miso hoisin mayo.
The ordering process is a bit different than the traditional one - you scan the QR code that is on the table, which leads you to a menu where you can order and pay online, along with the table number. You can leave a note as well.
🌟 Highlights Tiger Fries were tasty and crispy Chilling vibe and a great place to play board games with friends
🗿 Lowlights There wasn’t enough flavour in the Japanese Salad Box with Chicken Leaving a note when ordering was ignored. They didn’t provide the spicy sauce I...
