THE BEST NEW RESTAURANT IN LONDON! Incredible new restaurant near Deptford train station. A truly fantastic way of dining, phenomenal food, beautiful restaurant, extensive wine choices and amazing staff. Head chef Sam Soan has created a seasonal menu where you can order as little or as much as you like of perfectly created little dishes presented beautifully. The very friendly and helpful sommelier Zouba guided us through an appealing wine list explaining which wine matched which dish in a restaurant that encourages you to share small plates as you fancy them. The chickpea panisse blew my mind and the nemesis dessert will live long in the memory. By the time we came to leave my partner and I had ordered 8 plates of food, all incredible, all different, with wine to match. Klose & Soans catered our wedding a few days ago and did a stunning job. They are incredibly professional, laid back, accommodating, and reliable. The food was exceptional, especially the vegetarian option which can sometimes feel like an afterthought with other caterers.

They organised the bar perfectly, their staff were polite and friendly, and the whole day ran smoothly. Every single drink was ice cold, which was really appreciated in the 30C heatwave we had that day. They knew our venue (The Master Shipwrights House) inside out - we didn’t have to worry once. They advised on and hired our tables and crockery and their staff were on hand to set these up for us. They even set up a cocktail bar for us in the garden shack - nothing felt like too much to ask. This guys are simply gifted! Their food is delicious with a Mediterrenean accent that spans from Italian to Greek and Lebanese favours. I first met them at a pop up for Unwined in Tooting a few years ago and I still cannot get that cavolo nero pasta out of my head!!!
