Update: Gave me food poisoning. Be warned. - When paying £10 for all you can eat and a can of drink, you get what you get. Food isn't amazing, but it also isn't bad - it's mid and somewhat bland. It looks so much better than it is when you walk by and observe from the outside. The biggest complaints would be the labelling of food; bare basic labelling that only covers general groups rather than what each dish is and you have to guess what sauce you're choosing as only the sweet chilli and saracha are labeled. Some staff seem to also not get along very well, as arguing can be heard from the kitchen and you can see the throwing of utensils and pots on the ground when the door is left agape. Staff also seem lacking in care, as the guy behind the counter is on their phone constantly and shows little care or attention, and the food runners are wearing torn jeans and casual outdoor wear. Toilets were clean, looked rather nice, but rather cold for some reason. Otherwise, atmosphere from the environment and other customers feels warm, a place you could feel comfortable in solo dining or with a group. Also, we asked for a cup of water, and the water was warm/hot, so we had to wait for it to cool down to room temperature before drinking it.

I had come here yesterday evening for dinner with my partner, I’ll give you a run down of the restaurant and the value for money and quality of food: Price: £9 per person, this allows you to eat as much as you want for around 2hrs. 2/5 stars Service: hardly any service, just main counter where you pay and get a plate with cutlery from. So I would not say much of a service, 1 cleaner who is also taking plates away from tables once you leave. 1/5 stars Food quality: by looking at the food from the outside it looks pretty decent, when we attended the food buffet counter I found some of the food to be warmish and not hot enough, the selection was not massive but had some of the usual things you would find in a Chinese takeaway but missing quite a few basics too. There were also no deserts or fresh fruits which would have probably helped the shops selections. 3/5 stars Overall I can’t give more than 3/5 stars for this place but felt if I could give 2.5/5 stars this would be a better reflection. I probably wouldn’t come back here unless things changed and there were more selection going on considering the amount of food places within a 2 min walk.

⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve driven past Noodle City Denmark Hill so many times, always curious about this halal Chinese spot. Finally tried it today for lunch takeaway, and wow – I was so impressed! The food tasted amazing, way better than I expected for a buffet-style place. The service was excellent too – the guy at the counter was polite and clearly explained how it all works. For just £5, I got a takeaway box that was so generous I had to save half for later. Really great value, great food, and such respectful service. Definitely coming back again All the bad reviewer I don’t know what u was expecting with £9 which is a coffee price shame on u all . I need to see the price before u gave all the bad reviews about not having fresh food .do u even know the cost of a apple 😂

A relative of mine recently went to eat here, they were asked to leave by the manager, saying that it is because of their physical appearance (my relative has a medical condition which can be seen on their face) what a disgusting way to behave to anyone, and that's how they treat a customer of theirs but that doesn't surprise me at all, it's just a reflection of what the reviews are already saying, which says it all, lots of food poisoning and in your face discrimination and off the scale levels of rudeness and ignorance.

How this place is not closed down by the food safety regulatory authorities is beyond me. I do question if the food safety authority are actually doing their job at all. Where I come from food safety is taken very seriously rightly in that all food producing businesses that are in breach of food safety standards and laws are named in public on the local news and are often are closed down.

You're better off to go a pret a manger or somewhere at least you'll get some decent to eat than this all you can eat low quality, MSG ladden junk gunge so called food.

Do Not risk your health and put up with discrimination and rudeness for the sake of £10.

This place should be closed down with immediate affect. The amount of food poisoning on a plate, literally its serving people

To this manager, Do you not have any pride in yourself? In what you do, in having a restaurant, in the role you were given in providing a food service to people where customers will enjoy, remember and return and all thanks to you, you will see the fruit of your work. How would you feel if you or a family member went out to eat and you or them were asked to leave because of them having an illness and disability

Get another job and give up this restaurant, find out what you care and are passionate about and what is worth getting up in the morning for.

The UK has many charities as well as laws that were established from Christian values that are based on love to protect all people, my relative is just one example of how the law protects his rights.

You won't get very far much longer the way you're going, discriminating and accepting careless and poor hygiene leading to...

Noddle city in camberwell green Sweet and sour chicken in sauce is horrible the pieces off chicken are so hard and dry but look lovely and moist in the serving dish but that is such a force look. Once biting into the chicken pieces they are so hard I can't chew it no one could. Chicken curry was a bit better and the pieces were easier to chew. They have change the prawn crackers from white to a brown colour and yep they have a spice taste to them. I normally do not go in there as normal there dishes with chicken pieces are so dry. They keep the food to long in the heat. You are not allowed to keep cooked food under hot light or hot water under the metal bowls the food kept in for more than an hour or two. They keep adding fresh dishes on top off very dry chicken so it looks so moist and fresh. Never going back there again. The owners need to follow the food and hygiene regulations. Especially keeping food hot past the correct time. Have know friends who have gone there and ended up being ill with stomach pains and throwing up . So only giving one star. Also maybe change your menu as well. But please do hire someone that knows food and hygiene...
