MOOD LOUNGE = The name cannot be more wrong.!!
Moody Lounge..the place is too dark, definitely it will impact your mood hahaha.
I think that the comments here, are very much exaggerated. I was there last night, 23th of April. The place is "okay" overall, but nothing exciting or unique, to make you come back again.
The comments here are clearly over exaggerated, but it was fun to read them hahaha. it looks like an army paid to write comments in order to keep the average of stars close to 5..Anyways. The place is not bad, but not fantastic. no added value compared to other places.
It is a bit too dark inside, and a bit weird the way it is set. Only the second room has good and comfortable sit, but their number is very limited. The first room looks like a simple canteen and looks dark even though it is straight after the entrance.
If you don't like dark places, if you are claustrophobic, then it is not a place for you. Maybe the lighting could fix this, It gives a depressing feeling like being in a dark cave.
The service:
You have to wait for long time before you get your order. Hence, the service does not always match the minimum requirement, but this is not only at MOOD LOUNGE. They remove the ashtray out of sudden, despite the presence of a pack of cigarette on the table. So it sounds like because at the moment, no-one was smoking, they decided to take it out.
Prices:
Shisha is 25 pounds. However, in the area, it is easy to find places with shisha at 20 pounds with more space and better atmosphere. They are not the most expensive neither as one places not far from it, have the shisha at 30 pounds.
I would have put one more star if the staff were trained to show a positive attitude rather than displaying unnecessary arrogance.
I wouldn't mind going there again if I don't find alternative, if other places around are full, for instance. So it is not a bad place to avoid, but neither in the top 10 shisha place in the area of Acton/Park Royal.
You can try and make your...

My friends and I (who are Black,White,Asian and Arab) book at table for a birthday dinner at Mood Lounge. We wanted to experience the food and culture and from the moment we walked in, servers looked at us as though we were lost. We let them know we have reserved a table for 7, but we're given a table for 4/5 people. We asked to be moved to another table next to us, which sat 7 people, but was told no as they're reserved for others. We let the know we made a booking for 7 and after some back and forth, they finally added a small table to ours, which we were great full for. However this was only the start of things.....
As this night had a DJ, everyone was dancing, enjoying themselves and recording the experience, but our table was told that we were not allow to record and was told to delete our videos with dirty looks from a particular worker. Yet everyone else was doing so. Our black male friend was constantly given disgusted looks by the same worker (in a green top) if he clapped or showed interest in the traditional dancing.
We ordered our starters which were fine but when it got to ordering our mains, we found that everyone around us had their food before us, even though we ordered way before everyone else was there. We asked 3 times about the ETA of the food but for 2 hour we sat there starving and ignored. When questioned why we were being ignored, staff would not tell us what was going on until our Arab friend spoke to them. From here they looked scared and apologetic but mainly to her then the rest of us.
We asked for the bill to leave as we could not wait any longer and let them know if the racist behaviour of their staff members towards us. We spoke to the manager to let them know of out experience but we could see that this would not change anything as they really just wanted us out.
I honestly would never go back here due to the experience and would never bring friends or...
Read moreI had called to make a booking for ten pm, but then called to change it to ten thirty. I call to check what time they were closing as I was running late. They said they were closing in an abrupt manner and hang up. My friend then called back a short while later and they were told that the lounge will be closing at 1am, giving us plenty of time to be there. At no point was I told that they would be closing early. once we were already 5 minutes away i called to inform them i would be running 5 minutes late, at which point they told me they were closing at 11pm. I’m really aggravated at this point as it was my friend’s birthday and we were given false information after arriving there. they began screening my calls which was frustrating especially when i could hear people inside. took us a long time to get there and i wouldn’t have bothered had they just told me they closed earlier. sitting outside for a while calling but no avail either way i would not...
