Wonât be back. Very bad service from a women there. We asked for cutlery, everyone else had cutlery, the couple served after us were given cutlery. When I asked she gestured to a poster that said itâs best eaten with your hands, and then said they donât have anymore cutlery. A bit strange they donât have enough for the small number of people theyâre able to seat. Less than 5 minutes later she cleared a table of 3, so my husband asked if we could have the cutlery from that table. She then came back with only one set of cutlery, but we are two people!? She also placed the cutlery very far from us on the table. Clearly she had some kind of attitude problem. Not sure why, we were not rude to her in anyway.
So, next we asked if yoghurt came with the lamb burek. Her reply was strange, she said - it does, but itâs optional, some people donât want it, do you want it? The menu clearly states lamb burek and yoghurt. It shouldnât be optional. Unless she asked us if we donât want the youghurt, it should just come out with the food. We shouldnât have to ask. I wonder if anyone else there knew they had to ask for it, no one else had the yoghurt. Either that or everyone just didnât want it.
We were planning to order more food to take away after our meal, but decided against it. Food was ok, but let down by the terrible service. That woman should not be working in...

In the lovely, homely cafe that is reminiscent of an American diner, a Billie Holiday record was playing. Speak low, when you speak love. I was loving the atmosphere already.
A light in the tunnel at the end came in the form of the last slice of baklava bun topped with a sour cherry cream. The flavours intermingle in that cream: salty, sour, sweet, which is encased in a flaky bun. I can only imagine how good the files would be, which is why I promise to come back to this almost out of London gem.
The friendly shopkeeper, Urosh, chatted with us and he let me try some of his Smoki, a lovely peanut snack from the Balkans. He also helpfully recommended us lovely places around the area.
I love the place despite not having what I came there for. I can only...
Read moreSo we tried to go on Friday and it was after lunch and the shutter was down and they had a sign sold out. We were disappointed but it shows it is worth it. I went back Saturday to try my luck. It was about 5ish pm the tables were empty but had signs of a feast, empty plates and drinks. I tried the lamb sausage slice which was delicious, maybe it could have a bit more lamb but it was tasty. I had the garlic dip and it went well with it. I got one lamb, chorizo and spinach to takeaway. All worth it. I wish I found this place earlier as it is very good. I like it, but I don't know if I would come here on a regular basis. They are very good. I don't need to highly recommend here as the reviews speak...
