Namaste Gurkha - Hayes — Restaurant in London

Been a customer of this restaurant for a long time now since it was Pasa Kitchen.I picked Chicken Chilli Momos today went back home and tried to eat them. The momos covering was raw, they were hard and clearly were not fresh. The sauce was not like it usually is and was very sour. I called them and complained but the lady at the counter kept telling me it's cooked when it wasn't. They asked me to send a picture of it on whatsapp and I did but she still didn't take my feedback and had 0 customer service skills. The food ruined my friday evening and I went back all the way to return their stale food and get a refund. I asked the lady for her name as she was rude and in denial of my feedback but she refused to give me her name on the phone as well as in the store as she didn't obviously want it in this review. It was an older lady ( this was not the young professional girl who usually has served me). As a restaurant learn to take feedback from customers and not rubbish it especially from someone who has ordered from you many times. Train your staff better as this lady honestly didn't know what customer service is and went on ranting that the momos were cooked when they clearly weren't. I recently visited Namaste Gurkha Restaurant in Hays for an evening snack and had a mixed experience. I ordered the tandoori momos, which were decent in taste but didn't really stand out. The flavors were okay, but they lacked the boldness I was hoping for.

The ambience of the restaurant was just average. It was comfortable enough, but there wasn't anything particularly special or memorable about the atmosphere. It didn’t add much to the overall dining experience.

One thing that stood out, unfortunately, was the pricing. I found it to be on the higher side for what was offered, especially considering the quality and portion size. While I don’t mind paying a bit more for exceptional food or a great dining experience, this felt a bit overpriced for what you get.

The food here is delicious and the atmosphere here is very warm and inviting. I most definitely would recommend comming here if you haven't before. The only negative thing I could pick at is the fact I ordered something off the menu that states "Glass of wine" and was given a plastic cup with a small bottle of wine. I was expecting to get what I ordered off the menu and that was a GLASS with my wine but they said they don't have glasses. But all that aside if you haven't been here before I definitely would suggest you come here, the tasty food with so much flavour made up for it, at a bargain of a price too! I'm definitely coming back here myself. There are no customer toilets here. There is plenty of space and room to sit down. I give this place a 9/10 (would have been a 10/10 if they had glasses instead of plastic cups to go with the glass of wine I ordered. Would have made my experience here so...
