Upon entering the establishment, me and my daughter were immediately met with a sense of disappointment. The ambiance was terrible with employees giving bad looks that created an uninviting atmosphere. To make matters worse, the service was notably poor, with prolonged waiting times and an inattentive staff. It seemed as though our server was preoccupied and disinterested in providing a satisfactory dining experience to people of my colour.

However, the most significant concern was the blatant disregard for hygiene. The condition of the shop was outright appalling, raising serious doubts about the cleanliness of the kitchen and food preparation areas. The young Asian male who served me was caught picking his nose before serving another customer which caused a scene whilst I was waiting for my food. This made me want to leave the shop but they demanded payment first and didn’t want to refund me. I wasn’t in the mood to cause a hassle so I ended up writing this review so it can show others what this business is like and hopefully is worth more than receiving my refund.

Regrettably, the quality of the food was no better. The chicken was lacking in flavor, and appeared to be reheated and poorly presented. It was clear that attention to detail was sorely lacking in the kitchen.

I had the worst dining experience of my life at Al-Hyderabadi. I ordered their chicken dish, and to my horror, it was completely undercooked. The chicken was raw and pink in the middle, which is not only disgusting but also a serious health hazard.

When I brought this to the staff’s attention, they were completely unapologetic and dismissive. Instead of addressing the issue, they tried to blame me for "not understanding how it’s supposed to be cooked." Are you kidding me? Undercooked chicken is a basic food safety violation, and their lack of accountability is appalling.

To make matters worse, the rest of the meal was equally disappointing. The flavors were bland, the portions were small, and the prices were way too high for the quality. The service was slow, and the staff seemed more interested in arguing than solving the problem.
