I’ve been a regular customer at this KFC branch only because it’s the only halal option in my area, and my children love the food — but what I’ve endured here, repeatedly, is nothing short of emotionally exhausting.
Almost every time I order, something is missing — most often the chicken popcorn, which is the only thing my child eats from the meal. And yet again, despite ordering a full family meal including popcorn chicken, it was missing.
I had to leave my child crying at home, devastated because his favourite part of the meal wasn’t there. I then had to drive all the way back to fix their mistake — while emotionally still not even recovered from the last traumatic incident I faced at this same branch.
That previous experience left a lasting emotional impact on me. I still find myself thinking: “Why did I have to go through that? Why was I humiliated and spoken to like that, just because of someone else’s mistake?”
I was treated with complete disrespect and hostility last time by Chandni, a middle-aged staff member who behaves as if she owns the place and can mistreat anyone she pleases. When I returned, overcooked chicken pieces and politely asked for them to be replaced, she became extremely aggressive, as if I had insulted her personally. Her behaviour was uncivilised, untrained, and completely inappropriate — like a typical, controlling aunty who has no understanding of professional boundaries.
Today, I was shocked to see her While I was calmly speaking to the manager (Wasim) about the missing popcorn chicken, I clearly saw Chandni standing behind the counter, gossiping and mocking me with another staff member, pointing, whispering.
When I mentioned this, instead of showing concern or professionalism, the manager became defensive and rude, telling me I had “no right” to speak about the staff and telling me “ Do you have any proof” as if I was the one in the wrong. I was simply explaining how humiliating and degrading this repeated experience has been for me.
To make matters worse, before giving me the missing food, the manager spoke to other staff to “verify” whether I really didn’t receive it, which made me feel exposed, disbelieved, and emotionally violated — especially in front of a busy restaurant full of people.
I am a diabetic and a heart patient, and this level of stress is not just unfair — it’s dangerous.
I have filed a formal complaint with KFC and I strongly urge the company to review CCTV footage and audio recordings from this visit. I have also requested that strict disciplinary action be taken against both Mr Wasim and Chandni.
I am a peaceful, respectful customer but this was not just poor service. This was repeated psychological distress, emotional abuse, and complete public humiliation.
I will not return to this branch unless serious action is taken, and I will continue to speak up, because no paying customer deserves to be disrespected, dismissed, or treated with suspicion over someone else’s...
Read moreIncident date: 31/8/2024I have visited the store eat some food, met someone I know before in store, he is a colleague/ cook. We greated each other up, and I waited for my food. As I was trying to communicate with the cook, guy named ahatsam came to speak to me aggressively with loud tone, asked me what the problem is. I told him there is no problem in just saying hi to him. He told me before you speak to him you take my permission to speak to my staff, I was like brother who are you exactly? He told me that he is the store manager. I asked him where your name badge is and proper uniform is. He denied. And was still being rude to me. I got my food and sat down. I could see him and some girl mean mocking me through the counter which I felt really bad about. The guy so called mama she told me he knows about me and knows who I am which creeped me out. Whatever he was saying was not ok and it kind of looks like he follows modern slavery, where customers cannot say hi and everyone should dance on his orders. After all this harassment and abuse with no apology I had to go home. Again I came back to speak to him but he was nowhere to be found. I asked the staff to speak but he was gone home so they said actual store manager is in kfc and she can speak to you. She came to speak to me with no badge on her chest and upon asking her name she denied to tell me again in a rude way. She didn’t let me speak at all and was telling me to go home your job is done. Didn’t give me chance to speak. And even she confirmed he is not the store manager and she is the one. It’s not fair to behave like this I need some action to be taken on these people for this kind of behaviour. I have not done anything wrong, nor did I harm anyone, nor I misbehave. Why did they misbehave with...
Read moreRecently have rarely used kfc due to flavour not as good as it used to be and portion size getting worse so if I do use I tend to go with a fillet burger but against my own stupid judgment tried the 10 piece wicked variety bucket due to fillet burgers getting very small, now I won't be using them again.
The portion sizes of the chicken are despicable the 10 pieces of chicken where smaller and weighed less than the 8 hot wings, also still cooking miniature piece of chicken for the same time as the original large pieces so it's all so over cooked making the food even worse. Picture shows the center item is the hot wing.
Food was not hot which I can't understand when it's so busy and turnover so high the food doesn't have time to cool down too much.
Didn't get the beans this time as portion so small and most of the time dried up as if been there a lot longer than should be.
When this was a new KFC and had just opened it had showed hope for a brand which I always used instead of going to the cheaper fake chicken shops no matter what but now it's another KFC which shows why everyone is turning to the other imitation chicken shops there taste is better and cooked better like KFC used to...
